Ch. 5. Getting a Little Too Deep.
Nes drove up to my house, she usually doesn't pick me up but she claims to be in this "amazing" mood this morning and wanted to spread the cheer, honestly I think she wanted to bug me about the whole Harry situation. I didn't really know what to make of the Harry situation, I don't know why I continue to call it the Harry situation, but that's besides the point. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing anymore, it sounded like a good idea at the time, hearing all those horrible things about him, about what he's done to girls but talking to him, actually hanging out- or dating- him he's not all that terrible. He's actually kind of sweet, someone I would completely go for under other circumstances. Nes honked the horn gettin impatient with me, "Get in loser we're going shopping!" She yelled quoting Mean Girls, I rolled my eyes grabbing my bag that was settled on the floor.
I shouted goodbye to my dad before leaving my apartment, I put my beanie on my messy hair and stepped out into the cold. I hate London sometimes, I wish it was a bit warmer out here. "Morning," I greeted Nes climbing into her car.
"Morning, look what I have," I gasped as she dangled the Starbucks frappe cup in the air.
"Thank you so much," I took the frappe taking a long satifing sip. I could feel the cold liquid travel down my chest, I don't care how cold it is this is perfection, oh how I love Starbucks. "White chocolate mocha, how did you know?"
She smiled widely pulling the car out, "Oh I have my ways."
"That actually sounds kind of creepy, Nes."
"Oh shut up, be thankful I even got you anything."
"But you hate Starbucks-"
"I will toss it out the window."
"Fat chance," I giggled sipping my frappe. It got quiet too quickly, Nes is never the one to stay quiet, I knew instanstly she had something on her mind. "Say whatever it is you have to say now."
"How did your date with Harry go?"
There we go.
"It was fine," I stared out the window, I just lied to my best friend, it was more than just fine, it was the best date of my life.
"If you say so," she answered dropping the subject. "Did you kiss?" Appartenly not.
"Not that it's any of your business, no we did not." She pulled into the school parking lot, urgh, I am not looking forward to school today. I was actually planning to stay home until Nes gave me an early morning wake up call.
"Ready for school?" She asked slinging her bag over her shoulder, when am I ever ready for school?
"Nope," I faked smiled popping the 'p', "But I'll have to be ready."
Finally lunch time is here and it's time for some good old fashion food! "Belle!" Fuck, here I was about to have a nice, relaxing, peaceful lunch with me, my music and a nice book when someone has to call my name. I turned around ripping my earphone off, I saw a mop of curly hair half jog over to me.
"Harry?" I choked standing up from my spot in the grass under a tree.
"Hey babe," he wrapped his arms around me pulling me into his chest. "Missed me?"
"Not really, no." That's a lie, I've missed him a lot since last night, I couldn't get him out of my head. His thick bouncy curls, his perfect dimples, his kissable pink lips. Whoa- what am I doing? I can't be fangirling over the guy I'm trying to ruin, I really am an idiot.
"Ouch," he pretend to me hurt. "You're always hurting my feelings, meanie." He stuck his tongue out at me.
"Very mature dimples."
