C h a p t e r 16

Jenn's pov

Two months has passed, and my stomach is big. Well it's not that big, but if you look at me, you would either think I'm pregnant or fat. I still think about my "parents" showing up two months ago. It makes me angry how they think they can just show up and everything will be ok. Well today, me, Aiden, and Uncle Mike are going to the hospital so we can find out the gender of the baby. I'm so excited!

I can't believe I'm really having a baby. Omg, I'm gonna bring a little baby into this world. I get out of the shower and wrap on my towel around me. I brush my hair to get the tangles out and I open the door and am hit the cold air.

Sitting on the bed, I put on my sports bra and underwear. Making sure to lotion up my body and put on deodorant, I walk to my dresser and settle with some jeans and a shirt that says "Come over when your sober" (it's from Lil Peep). Grabbing my gym shoes, I try to tie them but fail and so I call Aiden and he comes rushing through the door.

"What's wrong babe?" "Oh nothing, I just can't time my shoes" I say and lay on the bed while he stands there and laughs before bending down and tying my shoes for me. "Thanks handsome" I say and kiss his cheek. "Anytime. I just am glad you didn't put on your slides this time. I can't have you falling " HOW DARE HE! I smack his arm and he just laughs like I'm just a joke.

(At the doctor)

We waited in the waiting room. There was other people here. A mom with 4 kids, a dad with 1, a old man with his grandson, and more. Looking at them, made me start to think about my family. I remember when I first got my period. I was so young and scared , I thought I was dying. Uncle Mike told me that females get their period at a certain age. Trust me, it was a very awkward conversation between us. But that's what he signed up for right?

"Jenn Stevens!" Well that's us. We stand up and I say , "that's me" the lady nods and says "right this way." We walk to a room with a computer, a screen, and a table or chair whatever the hell thats called. "Please sit right here miss, and Mr. Salvatore will be right with you." The nurse says before leaving me in the room with Mike and Aiden. "Are you ready love?" I look at Aiden and smile. "Yes. Yes I am. I'm nervous but I'm happy. I can't wait to see our baby." I say and start to tear up.

Aiden looks like he's going to say something, but gets cut off when the door opens. "Hello guys. I'm Mr. Salvatore and I'm your doctor though out this. Whenever you come here, you'll be able to see me." Mr. Salvatore says and he looks at me and smiles. He has brown hair, hairy eyebrows but they look just right on him, brown eyes. He is exactly Stefan Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. "Hello Mr. Salvatore." I say shyly. "Please call me Stefan. Ok so down to business, I will run some test and see what's going on. I see on your chart is that you took a pregnancy test and it says your pregnant. I'll have you pee in a cup and we'll test that." Wowww that's a lot. By the look on my face, he knows exactly what I'm thinking.

"Uhh that's a lot" Uncle mike says. Stefan chuckles. "Yeah it is. Ok so let's start." We start on the test and he gives me a cup and tells me what to do. I leave the guys in the room, and walk to the bathroom. Shit fuck. I pull my pants and underwear down and sit on the toilet, making sure to line it up. I pee in the cup then flush the toilet and wash my hands. I put the top on the cup and walk out of the bathroom.

"Here's the cup" I say and hand him it. He nods and leaves the room. "I wonder what gender you are having." Uncle Mike says. I smile and go up to him, "me either. I feel like this baby will change everything. I'm scared that mom and dad will come back and ruin everything."

I sit back on the seat and it's quiet until the doctor comes back in. "Ok so the test says you are possibly pregnant. But I need to see it on the screen to your right. So if you will lay back and lift your shirt up, I appreciate it." I sigh and do what he says. He turns off the lights and grabs something. Squirting the cold liquid on my stomach, he moves the wand around and says something that will change our lives forever.

"And here is the baby. You are around 6 weeks. The baby isn't that big yet but is gonna get bigger. I'll be your doctor throughout your pregnancy."

Life couldn't get any better.
