C h a p t e r 8

Jenn's pov

Today is the day that uncle Mike leaves. Idk whether I should cry, laugh, or please him to stay. I don't want to be selfish and please and beg because he's doing this for us. How else are we gonna get food and be able to live in this house?

I'm very happy he's doing this for us. I'm just gonna miss him so much. Omg some tears are starting to come out. Uncle Mike brings his bag downstairs and drops it on the floor. "I'm gonna miss you" I say and jump on him crying my heart out as if I won't see him again.

"I'm gonna miss you too princess. I don't wanna leave you baby, but I have too. I will be back very soon pumpkin." He says into my ear while still holding me in his arms. I tighten my arms and legs around him and he let's me.

After a while he speaks up, "baby I have to go. I can't be late for the flight." I relax my embrace and he puts my down. "I wanna walk you to the car" I say and he just laughs and says alright. I grab my bag and he grabs his and we proceed to leave the house.

He turns around and locks the door, while I continue to walk towards the car. Uncle Mike walks up to the car, and opens the passenger door and puts his bag on the seat. He then turns to me. "Alright babe. Here are the rules. While you are over there, have fun. If he does anything you don't like, tell me. If something bad happens tell me. If your mother or anyone from the mob contact you, tell me." He says very sternly and I nod.

"I love you baby girl." "I love you too uncle Mikey. He kisses my forehead. "When I come back, I'll take you out somewhere. Just the two of us." I smile. "I like the sound of that." He laughs and nods his head. "See you princess." "See you prince." And with that he gets in the car and drives away.

I cry and tears won't stop falling. I walk up to Aiden's house and knock on the door. A few minutes later, the door is opened. "Hello. How may I help you?" "Aiden" the guy begins to laugh. "No. I'm Grayson. Aiden is upstairs." And with that he opens the door and let's me in.

"Ok. Can I go to his room?" I say politely. "yeah if course. His room is the third door, on the right." I nod and begin to walk up the stairs.

Coming to the door, I knock three times. It opens and there is a topless Aiden, sweaty too. "Hey Jenn. I'm sorry I didn't come and get you. I forgot, then I had to clean up the house." I shake my head and he moves out of the way , letting me in his room. "No problem. Grayson is very nice."

"Yeah, he has mom's personality more." I nod my head and he looks at me. "Oh I'm sorry. You can put your stuff in my closet." He grabs my suitcase and walks to his closet, putting it in and then closing it. I take my shoes off and put them under the bed.

"So where's your dad?" He tenses and says "idk. He sent Grayson a text saying he won't be back until Wednesday or whatever." With bitter laced in his words. "Aiden can we watch spongebob?"

He laughs and says "sure. Just grab the remote, it's on my nightstand. I'm gonna get in the shower." I nod and begin to lean for the remote until Aiden comes up in front me and grabs my jaw forcing me look at him.

He looks at me, then my lips. I continue to stare into his eyes, wondering if he's gonna make the move. We lean in, until finally, his lips brushes over mine. I gasp slightly and he takes that as a yes and kisses me passionately.

Moving my lips against his, he puts he tongue on my bottom lip, asking for entrance and I open my mouth letting him in. We continue to kiss, until he pulls away gasping for air. "ok now your making me not wanna go take that shower." He says and laugh. "Go take your shower, I will be here when you get back" he nods and grabs his towels and walks towards the door, only to turn back and look at me.

"You'll be here when i get back?" He says and his voice sounds hopeful. "Of course i will." I say with a smile and he smiles back then goes to the bathroom, making sure to close the door behind him.

I turn on the TV and search for Spongebob until I finally come across it. I look down at my clothes and sigh. Getting up, I open his drawers and grab a shirt, and a pair of shorts.

Taking off my shirt and putting it on the bed, I get ready to take my pants off until I hear the door open. "I forgot my-" Aiden says and stops when his eyes finds me in this state.
