C h a p t e r 20
Jenn's POV
20 hours later, our baby was born. Thomas Aiden Walker Stevens was born on December 26, 2018 at 1:00am. 20 hours of labor and my little bundle of love is finally here. Me, Aiden, Grayson, and Uncle Mike are currently in the hospital with Thomas on a table like bed next to the bed. Looking at Thomas sleeping peacefully, I can't help but be very proud of us.
We made it a long way. Who would've known that I would have gotten pregnant years after I began to live with uncle mike. "He has your eyes you know." I look towards my left and see Grayson slouching in the chair looking at me. "I never knew how much life could change. Here's my nephew. He's so handsome." Grayson continues to say then rubs his finger against Thomas's hand. Thomas makes a little noise but stays sleep and I can't help but be happy.
"Grayson you are gonna be the best goddamn uncle ever. I can tell you that." I say then fall asleep.
When I wake up, it's at 8:00am and I am getting discharged at 9. The baby is still sleep and I don't see Grayson or uncle mike. Getting up, I go to the crib and pick up Little Aiden and see he's already waking up. "Hi there baby. Momma's here. Omg I'm so in love with you already." I say to him and he starts to laugh and I laugh while just looking at him.
"Here's a bottle. I just made it while you picked him up." Aiden says and he hands me the bottle and I move it to Thomas's mouth and he starts to drink like there's no tomorrow. I lay back on the bed and Aiden comes and brings me a towel and lays on the side of me. Watching me feed Thomas, he moves my hair from my neck and says the words that makes me blossom, "I love you Jenn. You have literally gave me the greatest gift in history." And with that I lean my head on his chest while Thomas drinks the rest of the milk.
Grabbing his phone out, Aiden takes a picture of all three of us. "Let me see" I say and he shows me.
