I decided to take Ali to lunch before we head to our 17 week scan. We locked the stair gate to Hulks room so he wouldn't destroy the house for the few hours we'd be gone, and he seemed ok with it he just went and laid in his bed. That dog was a major couch potato I swear.

"Babe" Ali whined as we were walking hand in hand to the hospital I hummed for her to continue "I want some donuts" I huffed out a slight chuckle.

"Ali you just ate two whole pizza's, which by the way you didn't share with me" she looks down at our hands before looking back up at me.

"I am eating for two and well, your baby didn't want me to share any with you. Blame them" she cheesingly grinning at me.

"Is that so?" I ask reaching for the door to the hospital entrance, she nods with a smile "come on you" I gently push her in

"But what about the donuts Em?" I shook my head.

"I'll buy you some after" with that she happily clapped her hands like a little kid on Christmas and walked through the door. Her and her donuts.

Ali was laying on the hospital bed as a nurse performed a sonogram on her.

"Alright, so your babys on the screen here and everything seems perfect, little one is doing well" she smiles at us. We both looked over to where she directed, and there was our gorgeous baby in black and white.

I grabbed Alison's hand to hold in my own, running my thumb back and fourth on her skin briefly looking at her and then turning my attention back to the beautiful sight on the screen.

It was incredible to think we made that together.

The nurse moves the doppler over Alison's belly "However your baby is a little on the small side than from what I'd typically see at 16 weeks but its nothing to worry about, the baby is really healthy just smaller then average"

Not going to lie. That scared me a little at first, but hearing the babys healthy was the best news I could receive. Especially after she'd just given me heart palpitations.

The nurse turns to look at the both of us "are we finding out the gender today?" I look over at Ali. I really didnt mind if it was now or later.

"Not yet we're gonna keep it a surprise until we cant any longer!" Ali tells her, the nurse nods telling us she'd print our pictures and would be right back.

....

It was now noon and we were back home with my manger Sammy and my stylist Emma, I had an interview with Ellen in 2 hours and the two had the task of getting me all set.

I was currently in our front room trying on outfits that Emma had brought over, finishing with the button and zipper on a pair on Khaki chinos, I turn around to face Emma who had an unsatisfied look on her face.

"I'm not a fan of those pants babe" Ali said looking over the couch, legs tucked under her rubbing the small baby bump.

I looked down at my outfit smoothing it out "what. Really you dont like it?" Alison shook her head no.

"Me either. Off" Emma demanded. For someone so small she was abit scary at times, but she was one of the most kind and bubbly humans I'd ever met.

I stripped the shirt and pants off leaving me in a black sports bra and my Taz The Tasmanian devil boxers. I'm a Looney Tunes lover ok. Alison started laughing to herself.

"Hey don't diss the boxers, I happen to know these are your favourites ok" I said as Emma helped me into a white tshirt and black jacket with zippers on the chest for dectoration whilst she joined in on the laughter.
