Ch.4★ Confession

"..what?"

A shy smiled appeared across Tae's face

"I know you don't feel the same way. You don't have to, but I just couldn't keep pretending that those feelings aren't here"

He smiled softly at her, giving her a sympathetic look

"You don't have to give me an answer now, but if there's any chance, a small speck of hope I'll gladly take it."

"Tae..look I-"

"Let's get you home"

He took Y/N's hand and walked her home.
Throughout the whole way they didn't speak.

"You cant be behaving this way. She's your best friend why are you being so rude?"

Namjoon wanted answers. He wanted to know why Jungkook was acting this way.

"You need to apologize, We didn't teach you to act this way" Jin sighed

"Let him breathe a little, he didn't mean it, right?" Hobi sat next down to Jungkook

"Go ahead and call Y/N. Apologize and it'll be okay"

Jungkook's bottom lip trembled slightly. He looked at his hyungs with a sorrowful look

"Okay..I'll do it tomorrow. Can you guys just leave? I want to be alone.."

Namjoon and Jin exchanged looks.

"Lets go, feel better Jungkookie" Hobi gave Jungkook a smile.

Just as he was about to push Joon and Jin out, Gaeul and Daeseong came barging in swinging the door open almost hitting Hobi

"Listen here Jeon Jungkook, I don't care if you're an idol, disrespect Y/N again, and I swear things won't be pretty!" Gaeul shoved Jungkook on the wall

"You were extremely rude, it wasn't necessary and we don't want to go to extreme measures. You nearly made her cry" Daeseong shot a glare at Jungkook

He only looked at her. He didn't bother responding, they were right after all.

Jimin came in running

"Gaeul! Sorry guys! She's- sorry sorry" Jimin pulled Gaeul off

"Didn't we agree for you not to get involved?" Jimin scolded Gaeul

"He's just pissing me off Jimin! Knock some sense into him before I or Daeseong do!"

Yoongi walked in moments later with a bag of chips. He calmly ate them "so are they going to fight or?"

Y/N thought of a way to start a conversation with Tae. But she couldn't. All that replayed in her mind was his confession.

'Okay Taehyung isn't a bad guy, and he isn't ugly either. In fact he's pretty handsome. But together?'

Endless thoughts kept pouring into her mind, she was so occupied that she didn't notice that they have arrived.

"Oh, looks like we're here" Tae let go of her hand.

"Y/N, please don't stress yourself out about this okay?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, sure"
