IMPORTANT! KINDA! BUT READ A/N ANYWAY!

So I had this idea a while ago, and now with my little brother watching Inside Out for the millionth time again, I'm putting the plan into action.

And yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. It's the emotions in the character's heads. I'm doing a few chapters on it, IF YOU WANT. So if you like it, let me know, and I'll continue.

Also, I'm pretty sure Percy thinks all of these emotions' opinions daily.

LET'S GO!

{PERCY'S JOY}

Another day at camp! Could it be better? I don't think so!

I should explain the premise of Percy's brain. Well, it's mostly blue, because we love blue here in Percy's HQ! And as you've probably heard, there are personality islands in his mind. Well, you aren't wrong! But, they're kind of a mix of his personality and important aspects of his life.

First, there's Loyalty Island. Fatal flaw, so duh. It's decorated with the faces of people we are selectively loyal to: Annabeth, Grover, Piper, Thalia, Nico, Jason, Frank, Leo, Hazel, Reyna, Tyson, Paul, Mom, etc. The Core Memory? When Percy was four, and Gabe tried to hit Mom. He had stepped in front of Gabe's hand, getting hit himself.

Second, we have Demigod Island. Okay, that may be a little  obvious, but hey! It ain't our fault. Being a demigod is a big  part of Percy's life, and effectively, is a big part of his personality. It's probably my favorite, or at least high on the list, because it looks just like Camp Half-Blood. Well, half of it. The other half looks like Camp Jupiter, they both have the big fancy entrances in the front just like the camps.

Oh, and the Core Memory. When Percy boarded the Argo II. I know what you're thinking: But, Joy! Percy knew he was a demigod a lot longer than that!  But, when Percy boarded the Argo II, the two demigod worlds came together. Making both Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood his home.

And yes, there is  a Persassy Island. Don't judge! It's just the way it is, and also, he's a teenager, it's bound to happen. It may not be the best to me, but it's the coolest one! And, the Core Memory originated from the famous: "I am impertinent."

Okay, this one for sure is gonna dumb. But...there's kinda an Annabeth Island (AWWWWWW)? Shut up! She's a humongous  part of Percy's life, and...yeah. And yes, the Core Memory is  "You drool in your sleep." Can you stop gushing?! I understand it's adorable, though!!

{THIRD POV}

Percy woke up normally, thanks gods no dreams tonight. Thank you, me! Joy thought. The four other emotions sat around Joy.

"Let's wake up," Joy suggested.

"No! What's that fluff of yellow? It's a monster!" Fear yelped. He pressed the "Monster" button, and HQ went on lockdown. "MONSTER! MONSTER!" it whined.

Percy reached for Riptide, but then Joy noticed something. "Wait, wait! It's just Annabeth!" I announced.

"Ohhhh."

After they all realized what, or who, it was, they snapped back. The emotions sighed lovingly. "Annabeth..."

Joy pressed some buttons and Percy snuggled into Annabeth. "What should we do?"

"Wake her up! We can kiss her!" Anger cheered.

"What? No! We'd be a bad boyfriend!" Disgust argued.

"And she would be mad!" Fear added.

"Let's...kiss her on the cheek?" Sadness volunteered. "You never knew when we'll lose her."

Joy rolled his eyes and after fidgeting with buttons, Percy buried his face in her neck. The emotions sighed contently again.

"So now what?" Sadness asked, ignoring the fact that Annabeth Island was running like crazy. And that's the exact moment Annabeth decided to turn around and wake up.

"Morning," she muttered, her eyes still closed.

"She's so friggin' cute!" Joy gushed.

"We can't lose her..." Fear trailed off.

"Good morning," Percy smirked. Annabeth rolled her eyes and kissed him.

All the emotions froze and sighed once again. And then, the room started to look strangely 2D...

"Ahh! Brain Melt!" Fear exclaimed.

"No!" Anger rolled his eyes.

Percy commonly got Brain Melts when he was with Annabeth. His brain froze up and then melted for just about as long as she was in contact with him. To be honest, a good amount of the emotions were used to it.

...

Percy slashed at the dummy's body. He snuck in a few stabs, here and there. Percy had created this combination of Roman and Greek fighting styles. Roman was more stabby-stabby  while Greek was more slashy-slashy.

"Percy, chill!"

The emotions turned Percy around to see Piper standing there, with her arms crossed. "You're gonna hurt someone. You may be said 'someone'."

"Well, that was nice of her to be concerned about us!" Joy gushed.

"Are you kidding? Piper interrupted our practice!" Anger growled.

"We could've hurt someone," Fear stressed.

"Someone like Piper," Sadness agreed.

The emotions made quick eye contact and all wrestled for the control. After a few seconds, Joy finally gained control. "Sorry, Piper," Percy sighed. "I was kinda...in the zone."

"Well, in that case, I'm  sorry. But I didn't think you'd like it if you came out of the zone to find someone decapitated," Piper laughed.

Percy laughed a little and looked up again. "Why are you over here, anyway?"

"Lunchtime," Piper shrugged, and then ran away laughing. When Percy realized what she said, he rolled his eyes (Disgust taking control).

"Piper!" he whined, and ran after her.

...

"Oh my gods, Leo!"

"What? It's just a French fry!"

Disgust immediately reacted. "What did he do this time?"

"It was probably awesome!" Joy cheered.

Percy sat down at Table 3 next to Annabeth. All of his friends were very obviously breaking the rules, but he doubted any of them cared. "What'd I miss?"

"Someone's just being a dumba**, as per usual," Annabeth rolled her eyes. Anger snorted.

Leo scoffed and put his hand over his heart. "I feel targeted!"

The table laughed. Then, Sadness noticed something. "I miss Hazel. I miss Frank. I miss Reyna."

"We SAW THEM YESTERDAY!" Anger argued.

"But I still miss them!"

You could practically hear Loyalty Island turning it's gears. Joy realized that Percy must be having the thoughts that Anger and Sadness were discussing. Which, isn't good! Percy's with his friends, he should be happy.

Joy quickly played a happy memory from when he was fourteen. He was with Grover, Tyson, Thalia, and Annabeth during the Fourth of July picnic. Percy was satisfied for a second, but then he went to missing Thalia, Grover, and Tyson!

"I just can't win with him!" Joy gave up, and let some other emotion take control.
