Meet The Demigods!

Arryn Ottoman

Uh, hi, I'm Arryn Ottoman, I'm a girl, I'm sick of people getting that confused, and my bestfriends are Travis Stoll, Connor Stoll, and Katie Gardner.

I am like, the only  person who isn't completely in love with the Stolls. Except for Katie, who really seems to hate them, but hangs out with us anyway. Well, I thought that until today.

The day started normal. It had been two months since the Greek and Roman gods revealed themselves, and people now believe that, "OMGS! I have, like, one parent, and like, I can't read, so I must have dyslexia, so like, I like, MUST be like, a demigod! LIKE!" UGH. The popular kids at this school, I can't even deal with them.

So we were sitting in our newly-required Greek class, waiting for a new professor after Katie and the Stolls outsmarted another  teacher.

Right before the bell rang, a blond guy with grey eyes came running in. He looked no older than nineteen or twenty, and all the girls were swooning over them. I rolled my eyes. I had decided a while ago that if I found Thalia Grace, I would join the Hunters of Artemis.

Katie stared at him with her mouth hanging open. C'mon Katie! Not you, too! But when I turned, I realized Travis and Connor were doing the same.

"MALCOLM?!"

"It's Mr. Pace in the classroom, Stolls. Oh, hello Katie! Good to see you," the man, now deemed as Mr. Pace, smiled. How did he know her, and why are they on a first-name basis?

"Alright class, I'm Mr. Pace. I'm not wasting time, open up your books to page 345. It should say: Modern Greek History: The Second Titan War."

We flipped to the page to see writing and many pictures scattered around. (The textbook is written by Malcolm)

"In 2009  (It's true! I looked it up. Percy was born in 1993, meaning he was sixteen in 2009, making that the time of the Second Titan War, and the Giant War in 2010!), Percy Jackson and Camp Half-Blood had to fight in the war against Kronos in Manhattan, New York. That same year, The Prophecy of The Seven was also released, bringing Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Leo Valdez, Nico di Angelo, and Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano together to save the world from the world itself.

"In the beginning of summer, 2009, Percy attacked the Princess Andromeda with Charles Beckendorf, who died in an explosion on the ship."  I heard sniffing coming from next to me, and when I turned I saw Katie and the Stolls crying! "Percy and Nico di Angelo went into the Underworld for Percy to take a swim in the River Styx, making himself invincible except for the small of his back. After leaving the Underworld with some mishaps with Hades, Percy goes back to Camp Half-Blood. They head into Manhattan after the Ares demigods refuse to fight. Ironically," Mr. Pace laughed the last part.

"When they arrive, Manhattan is asleep. The camp protects the boundaries, and starts fighting."  "I never got to steal from that candy store," Travis murmered, and Katie slapped his arm. Weird.

Malcolm drags on a little longer, until he reads a last part. "Some heroes were Clarisse La Rue, Chris Rodriguez, Travis Stole, Connor Stole, Kathrine Gardiner..."  Everyone turns to look at Katie and the Stolls. "Not us! Spelled differently, see?" Connor says, pointing at the book. People slightly nod and go back to their books.

"So! For this week's assignment, I want you guys to research a demigod with the people at your little table-things. I will assign you one. Jane, Dennis, Wallis, and Cori, you guys will do Annabeth Chase..." "Yes! She's hot!" Wallis cheered. Mr. Pace glared at him. "She's taken, but I'm sure you'll figure that out in your research," he scolded.

"Uh, Arryn, Travis, Connor, and Katie, you'll do Perseus."

"Which one? The one that your sister is obsessed with, or the one that your sister is obsessed with, if ya know what I mean," Travis laughed, doing a little shimmy and winking. Katie and Connor laughed, but Katie still slapped his arm and scolded him.

Mr. Pace shook his head, chuckling a little. "I guess the one that my sister is 'obsessed with', and I do know what you mean, she doesn't shut up about him," he said.

<Katie's POV>

The entire class is staring at us like we're insane, but honestly, this is hilarious.

"Aw, come on Malcolm, they're adorable," I cooed. "We waited forever  for them to get together. It was annoying!"

"I can agree that it was annoying, she would rant about him and refused to admit her feelings for him. And she says he's  dense. Also, they're not the only cute couple, Tratie ," Malcolm smirked.

Oh gods.

Connor was cackling, and I buried my face into my hands. Travis wrapped his arm around my waist. "What's wrong, Katie-Kat? You don't think we're a cute couple?" he whined.

Arryn stared at me in shock, while the rest of the class glared at us in jealousy. Ugh. Mortals.

"Oh, did you not tell them?" Malcolm laughed. "I think you might as well reveal yourself. I will, too."

"Okay. Well, hey! I'm Katie Gardner, but you know me as Katherine Gardiner. I'm actually her! Daughter of Demeter. Don't believe me?" I smirked, and made a plant on the window grow large. People gasp and scoot away from me.

"I'm Malcolm Pace, son of Athena and brother of Annabeth Chase."

"I'm Connor Stoll, son of Hermes."

"I'm Travis Stoll, son of Hermes! And Katie here is my girlfriend!"

<Arryn's POV>

Wow, okay. So my teacher and bestfriends are demigods, and two of them are dating, and NO ONE TOLD ME!

I guess I didn't know them as well as I thought.

Katie, however, took me to Camp Half-Blood so I could join the Hunt.

But on my way inside, well, let me explain.

I was running quickly after Katie, when I ran into someone. "Sorry," he muttered.

I look up to see a really cute boy. "Jack Marlow, son of Apollo," he introduced himself. "Arryn Ottoman, mortal," I blushed.

"Arryn! You coming?" Katie yelled.

"Uh...Katie? I, uh, changed my mind?"

She smirked at me knowingly, seeing my position. "Okay."

A year later, I'm finally  dating my bestfriend/now boyfriend Jack.
