Percabeth. FINALLY!

Also a little cliché.

Hey, I'm Kat Salamander, and I have a small...okay HUGE crush on Percy Jackson.

But he doesn't know. Yet.

See, tonight, he invited me to his house to hang out, 'cause I'm his best friend (LOL NOPE). I'm going to tell him tonight.

...

So I threw on clothes, as he came and picked me up. I sat in shotgun.

"Brr, sure is cold in here," I muttered, hoping for Percy's sweatshirt. But he only shook his head.

"I'll turn on the heat," Percy answered. God, he's so oblivious.

When we entered the house I was greeted by screams and yells. Percy smirked.

"LEO! BEAT THE SCHIST OUT OF MY SISTER!!!!" a really hot blonde guy yelled.

"No! Come on, Thalia, we gotta beat LEO!!" a pretty Cherokee girl cheered.

I walked forward to see an array of kids on the couches. There was a girl with spikey hair who I presumed as Thalia, playing Mario Kart, hanging off the couch. A Latino, who I assumed as Leo, was playing, too, sitting on the top, like, the backrest, of the couch.

The Cherokee girl was sitting on the armrest next to the blonde guy. The blonde guy was snuggled next to her, and she was leaning against him. There was a girl with caramel hair and almond eyes next to Leo, rolling her eyes. There was also a goth kid smushed next to a guy the complete opposite of him, both on one small comfy chair.

Then there was a young cinnamon skinned girl with golden eyes laying on the couch, here head hanging off the side. There was a Chinese buff guy snuggled next to her.

And finally, there was a gorgeous blonde girl with curly hair and scary grey eyes. She's probably a dumb blonde, no competition here. (Do I need to tell you to not take it personally?)

"Kat, this is Piper, Jason, Thalia, Nico, Will, Leo, Calypso, Hazel, Frank, and Annabeth," he said, his face lighting up as he said their names. Ah, so these were the famous camp friends. "Hey guys!"

He at most got a "hey." What horrible friends!

"C'mon, Thalia!" Piper yelled.

"Oh my gods, Piper, you're not rooting for your own best friend?" Leo whined.

Piper smirked. "But my bets are on Thalia. Sorry, Repair Boy."

Leo rolled his eyes. "But at least you, Sunshine? Are you on my side?"

"I'm gonna be the nice girlfriend and stay on your side," Calypso laughed.

"Yay! Thanks, babe. You're the best!" Leo cheered.

Percy walked over and told me I could sit on the couch next to Hazel and Frank. I was hoping he'd sit next to me, but no, he sat close to Annabeth. Ugh.

As I thought, I felt people jump around me, and I flinched.

"Yes! I won! In your face  Grease Monkey!" Thalia cheered. Leo rolled his eyes and groaned.

Nico laughed, and it looked like he never did. "Yes! I knew Pinecone Face would win. She's 10x less annoying than you, Leo."

"Hey!"

"Percy! I'm cold. Hand over le sweatshirt," Annabeth giggled. Ha! Joke's on her, Percy doesn't give up his sweatshirts.

"As you wish, le Wise Girl," Percy laughed, and handed over his sweatshirt. WHAT?!

"You used that wrong."

"I never said the word 'that'."

"Oh my gods, Seaweed Brain, you know what I meant."

"Yeah, yeah."

At this point, a new game had started between Nico and Thalia.

"Let's go Death Breath!"

"Whoop whoop! Let's go Death Boy!"

"C'mon, Thals!"

"Pinecone Face! Pinecone Face!"

"I'm just gonna get popcorn," Percy laughed, and stood up.

"I'll come with you," I volunteered. Annabeth glared at me, which was scary as hell, but I went anyway. She can't hurt me!

Okay. Now's the time.

"Percy?" I asked.

"Yeah, Kat?"

He turned around and I slammed him against the wall. I kissed him. Hard.

Percy shoved me off after a second or two of struggling. "No," he muttered.

"What?" I asked, my heart breaking.

"I said no! Is it not obvious?!" Percy asked. He ran out of the room and I followed.

He ran into the living room where the rest of the gang were. Annabeth was walking back to the couch, but Percy spun her around and slammed his lips onto hers. And she didn't pull away.

"No," he said, turning back to me. Piper, Jason, Leo, Nico, and Thalia started cracking up.

I stomped up to Annabeth and slapped her. "You b*tch! You barely know this guys and you stole him from me! How dare you?! You selfish, sl*tty, full of yourself, dumba** b*tch!" I yelled.

Annabeth glowered at me, while everyone else gaped like I'd just made the mistake of my life.

"Listen here, Kathrine. You are the selfish, sl*tty, full of yourself, dumba** b*tch. I have been best friends with Percy since we were twelve, and we've dated through two of the years. We have been through literal hell together, and in no way is it your right to try and defy that. We have something you'll never have. Can't you just give him a break? So what you got rejected. Yeah, it hurts, but guess what? Cry yourself a river, build a bridge, and get over it. Maybe you should learn your facts before you judge somebody," she scowled.

"Annabeth-" Percy tried.

But I wasn't finished. "Please, Annabeth. What do you have that I don't? Nothing. I have more. I'm pretty, and kind, and funny, and loyal, and accepting, and what are you? A nothing. I know for a fact that I'm overall way better. Some girlfriend you are that you see him every summer, I see him every day. I could actually be there for him, I could actually be a good girlfriend, I could be someone he actually loves. Unlike you."

Annabeth tried to look strong, but her eyes were watering and looked more broken than before. She tensed in Percy's grasp.

Percy was fuming.

"Oh my gods, you are a disgusting idiot Kathrine, if you think that I'd ever leave Annabeth. Do you know what she has? She's not pretty, she's beautiful. She's not kind, she's loving. She's not funny, she's hilarious. She's not loyal, she's everyone's partner for life. She's not friendly, she's not accepting, she's above and beyond that. She's not nothing, she's everything. At least to me. I see her every summer because she lives in San Francisco. I'd like to see her more, so that's why she's moving in. She's always  there for me. She's an amazing girlfriend, the best. And the dumbest mistake you made, Kathrine, was saying that I don't love her. Because I have never, and will never, love anything or anyone more. So shut up, and get out of my house."

"But-"

"I said. Get. The. F*ck. Out."

I stomped my foot. Nico, Thalia, and Piper came over and shoved me out the door.

"And stay out, b*tch," Nico scowled. They slammed the door in my face. UGH!

Oh well, I'll just go after Jason or Frank. They're pretty hot, too.
