If you've read the Dark Prophecy, you already know who this is.

If you haven't, well, Hunter is a Hunter. Like, a Hunter of Artemis. Yes, a Hunter named Hunter. That was the joke. But yeah.

I love the Hunters, sooooo

LET'S GO!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Great, just great. Lady Artemis leaves half of us for one night, and our camp gets attacked. WHAT. THE. HADES.
Thalia had Lindsay and Becka watching the outskirts of our temporary camp. Which was a bad decision on her part. Lindsay has been part of the Hunt since 1698, and Becka joined...two weeks ago. Ish. The plan was for Lindsay to teach Becka how to be a Hunter, but that failed. Miserably.
I'm not saying it's Becka's fault.
That's a complete lie. It is Becka's fault.
Apparently, a few monsters came and attacked camp. Lindsay got knocked out by who knows what, and like I said, Becka came two weeks ago.
So here we are, Lindsay and Becka passed out, Carly, our healer daughter of Apollo, was tending to them (plus Dani, Emmy, and Scarlett), and me? Well, I'm fighting with Thalia, Liz, Breannan, and McKenzie, because the rest of the Hunters were off on a quest with Lady Artemis.
Thalia cursed. "I'm out of arrows!"
"What the Hades, Thalia?! Who brings twenty arrows to a battle?!" Breannan yelped.
"Hawkeye did it with less, once!" Thalia pointed out.
"Who is Hawkeye?!" McKenzie yelled.
"Oh my gods, we gotta get y'all to watch a normal movie!" Thalia screamed, and rolled past a big monster.
"I'm pretty graveled," Liz muttered. Elizabeth was from the 1800s, so, I mean, her talk was confusing.
I threw a dagger at a monster and it disintegrated into gold dust. "Everyone, shut up, and fight!"
"No duh!" Thalia screeched.
A sharp pain went up my arm and I groaned. Blood splattered on my face. "Gods, seriously?" I cursed, looking at my bloody arm. That was gonna leave a scar.
"Oh my gods, are you okay?!" Breannan yelled.
"I'm fine, Bree!" I yelled back.
I tumbled into a one-handed cartwheel and flipped. Most people don't know that I'm good at gymnastics, it was a sport I did before my parents died. Well, except Apollo.
Oh yeah, Apollo's kinda mortal right now. Thank gods, too, because he saved me from Nero and Lityerses and Commodus. And Jason Grace had recently died, and Thalia was not  happy about it, obviously. That was the first time I ever cried in front of the Hunters, and it'll be the last. And whatta you know, he's alive again! That was the second time I cried in front of the Hunters, and that'll for sure  be the last.
I ripped a piece of the sweater I wore underneath my parka and wrapped it around my long bloody cut. I then yanked the dagger from the ground and ran over to another dracnae and stabbed it.
"Oh gods, I knew I smelt the rat!" Liz shrieked.
"Smelled the what?" McKenzie yelled.
"It means she knew that there was trouble coming!" I explained, rather loudly, "What trouble, Liz?"
"That could be aught!" Liz yelled, pointing to the trees.
"It could be what?" Breannan asked.
"Anything!" I yelled, "It means anything! What the Hades are you looking at, Liz?!"
"That...thing!" Liz tried to evaluate.
I noticed what she was talking about. A figure bounced from tree to tree, and a group of figures the same shape swung on each tree behind her. "What the Hades is that?" I asked.
"It's not a that," Thalia smirked, "it's a who! The Amazons!"
I had only been a part of the Hunt for about six months, which is a while after the Hunt and the Amazons teamed up for that fight against Orion. I wasn't around to meet any. I wasn't around to meet the ones who died. A Latina girl flipped in front of Thalia.
"Hylla, good to see you again," Thalia smiled.
"Thalia Grace, it's our pleasure. How's my sister?" Hylla asked.
"Haven't seen her in a while, but from the time I last her, she was doing okay."
"Good. Now, introductions, please?"
Thalia shrugged. "As long as it's quick, we've only held them off for a little. These are Breannan, Hunter, McKenzie, Liz, and over there, in our makeshift infirmary, is Carly, Dani, Scarlett, Emmy, Lindsay, and Becka. The rest are on a trip with Lady Artemis. You guys?"
"Hunters, these are my Amazons, Julia, Kayley, Lexi, Brook, Masie, and Lana. The rest are watching our base," Hylla explained. "Now, shall we kill some monsters?"
"We shall," Thalia smirked. "Game plan?"
Hylla scrunched her eyebrows together like she was thinking. "Masie, Lexi, go help Carly and make some medicine out of plants. Kayley, take left, Brook, take right, Lana and Julia, take middle. What about your Hunters strengths?"
Thalia snapped, like she had an idea. "McKenzie, get that rope we got from Britomartis the other day. You and Breannan try decapitating monsters with it, it worked with that arai the other day. Liz and Hunter, see if you can get any of the injured back up, and if you can, get them fighting!"
We nodded and ran off. Liz and I sped towards our makeshift infirmary.
"Carly, how are they doing? Can they fight? Can you  fight?" I asked.
Carly nodded. "I could fight, and Lindsay could fight. Maybe Scarlett and Dani, and if we're lucky, Emmy could fight. But not Becka. Masie, Lexi, good to see you, can you watch Becka?"
Masie nodded. "You got it, Carly."
Lexi patted Carly's shoulder. "Good luck, don't overwork yourself."
We brought each huntress on her feet, one by one. "Okay, on the count of three, we run and attack. Ready?" I called.
"3."
"2."
"1!"
I sped off and climbed the first tree I saw, and jumped onto branches. I grabbed onto leaves and flipped and cartwheeled and back handspring-ed my way across the treetops. My eyes noticed Breannan and McKenzie trying to strangle a monster with the rope that Britomartis, the goddess of nets, gave us.  I reached for my bow and arrows and shot, killing at least five monsters quickly.
My silver sharky white hair fell into my eyes as I sped on the trees. "GO! GO! GO!" I heard Thalia screaming.
I jumped off of the tree I was on, somersaulted once I hit the ground, and landed, but I wasn't safe. A loud POP!  came from my foot, and pain flooded up my leg, and I groaned loudly.
"Hunter! Are you okay?" Carly called.
"I'm fine, I'm okay!" I yelled, and passed out.
Two hours later, when I woke up, the fight was over, and I was in the infirmary being watched by Masie and Lexi. I came outside with them a half an hour later and the Amazons and Hunters were having a campfire together.
"To two bada** bands of girls who save men's' a**es!" Thalia laughed. "To us!"
"To us!" we answered.
Wow, do the Amazons and the Hunters make a good team, or what?
