Hmm, yeah. I did.

So I'm in a Magnus Chase zone, and then I had this idea that I loved. What if Jason went to Valhalla? (Pretty sure someone else came up with this idea before me, so I'm not taking credit.)

YES, I KNOW I'M DOING A LOT ABOUT A DEAD JASON, BUT I HAVE A LOT OF EMOTIONS AND IDEAS!!!!

SO. These next chapters are Magnus, Sam, and Alex bringing Jason to the mortal world (Midgard). And I know I had a chapter with Aphrodite bringing him back, but that's the point. ;)

Also! It's been a while since I've read The Ship of The Dead, so sorry if I mess up anything.

OKAY.

LET'S GO!

I didn't sleep the night before, which is common. As an einherji, I don't exactly need  sleep. I never found it strange, or linked to anything (usually). I was wrong, as per usual.

I walked out of my room and knocked on my wonderful boyfriend, well, girlfriend's? Possibly? Door.

You see, Alex Fierro, son/daughter of Loki, is transgender and genderfluid. Means that he(?) changes gender almost daily. For the past week, Alex identified as a guy. But Alex usually identifies as a girl. You can see why this is confusing.

"What do you need, Magnus?" Alex called.

"Can't you just let me in?" I whined.

Alex opened the door and stared at me with his two-toned eyes. One eye is darker than the other, and frankly, it makes him less intimidating. "Before you ask, girl today," Alex rolled her eyes.

Let's not  tell Alex I've been calling her a he  all day?

"That was helpful," I admitted.

"Just...what do you need?" she asked.

"I honestly don't know," I awkwardly laughed. "Breakfast?"

"If you get Mallory and T.J. And Halfborn. I like him," Alex added. "See you later!" and with that, she slammed the door in my face. She's in a good mood today, and that's not even sarcasm.

I walked over to Thomas Jefferson Jr.'s room, only to find the door wide open with Mallory Keen and T.J. sword fighting. Halfborn Gunderson was cheering his girlfriend on.

"Oh, hey Magnus," T.J. called from the fight. "Me and Mallory are fighting for breakfast rights."

"Breakfast rights?" I snorted.

"I want right to his pancakes this morning," Mallory explained, "so I dueled him for it."

"To the death?" I asked.

"To the death," they agreed.

Here in Hotel Valhalla, death is normal. We just call them Tuesdays. Heck, when I first met Alex, she beheaded me in a battle. Long story, but it happens a lot. But anyway, once you die, you just regenerate in about an hour or two. No biggie. It comes with the einherjar powers.

"Well once one of you die, come to breakfast," I urged.

"I heard rumors a new einherji came last night," Halfborn smirked. "Supposedly on floor nineteen. Meet 'em, Magnus, and tell us if he's good people."

I sighed. "Whatever."

I turned and walked out into the hallway, and what do you know, there's another door claimed. On the door, a mark read Jason Grace. The name was so familiar, I had to know who it was. I knocked.
