17| Chapter Seventeen

Lies.......

"Uhm s-o-rr-y I need to take a bath we're al-mo-s-t late fo-r school" Ellie stuttered as she stood up from the floor and dusted her body.

Stacie could sense that something was wrong but decided to knock it off "great!" She smiled "we can take a bath together just like old times"

"No!" Ellie shouted and Stacie looked at her okay something was definitely wrong. Ellie couldn't imagine being in the bathroom naked with Stacie, it made her feel somehow even though it was something she and Stacie usually did anytime they slept at each other's house she couldn't help buy feel guilty like it wasn't right.

"What is wrong?" Stacie asked out of concern going close to Ellie "talk to me El" but Ellie shifted back, she couldn't help but feel some type of way around Stacie especially when she mentioned having a bath together and it was scaring the living shit out of her.

"Nothing" Ellie lied

"Come on Ellie there has to be something, you've been acting weird ever since this morning and a little bit last night too something is definitely up come on you can tell me"

"Nothing is up Stace I'm just a little bit stressed out" she lied again

"Now that's a lie" Stacie shook her head in disagreement "if nothing is wrong why won't you take a bath with me, I mean its something we've been doing ever since we were kids and practically up till this moment so why? Why did you flinch when I touched you and most especially why aren't you looking me in the eye right now why are you staring at the ground?"

"Trust me Stace nothing is wrong" Ellie assured looking Stacie in the eye "I just feel a little stressed out that's all"

"Are you sure?" Stacie asked still not fully convinced

"Yes" Ellie replied

"You know if anything goes wrong you can actually come to me, I will always be there for you El no matter the circumstance no matter what happens I won't ever leave you"
