14| Chapter Fourteen
Old memories.....
Immediately dinner was over Stacie and Ellie left the adults to talk and went up to Ellie's room.
"Wow I love your room, I never get tired of coming in here" Stacie exclaimed jumping on the bed and Ellie laughed at Stacie's childishness, she always said the same words every time she came into her room.
"Here" Stacie patted the space next to her implying that Ellie should come lie down.
Without wasting time Ellie bounced on the bed and they both laughed.
"You know it's been 10 years since we became friends, 6 years since we became bestfriend's" Ellie said breaking the silence
"Yes" Stacie nodded "sometimes I imagine what would've happened if I didn't approach you that day and save you from the mean bullies" she laughed
"Yea me too" Ellie agreed "it was funny you know how their jaws dropped and they picked it back from the floor and ran away" she chuckled "and they never bothered me again after that day thanks to you"
Stacie laughed at the memory and then spoke up "you know I'm lucky to have you as a friend"
"Yes you are" Ellie agreed "but I consider myself the more lucky one" she said
"Wrong" Stacie disagreed, we're both lucky to have each other" then Ellie turned to look at her and Stacie stared back, they were practically looking at each other and every where was quiet the tension was thick and strong.
