16| Chapter Sixteen

Mixed signals.....

Stacie and Ellie's parents had come up to Ellie's room last night to tell Stacie it was time to go but found them sleeping in each other's arms.

Stacie's mum smiled when she saw them, they looked so peaceful and beautiful this would make a good pose for a picture she thought then she brought out her phone and took a picture.

Stacie's leg was untop of Ellie's body and Ellie's arm was wrapped all over Stacie and her head buried in Stacie's chest if their parents didn't know better they'd say they were lovers but they knew better than that so they left them to sleep, Stacie could come home the next morning since their house was opposite each other.

Ellie opened her eyes and was surprised when she felt an arm pull her closer then she looked up and realized it was Stacie, relief washed over her as she sighed, Stacie was fast asleep but she was groaning.

Looking up at Stacie she took her time to study Stacie's look. Half of her hair covered her face and her brows were full like she hadn't shaved them in a long time and a little part of her baby pink lips was visible.

Ellie felt her chest do thump thump and it even started beating faster when Stacie started to wake.

"Morning sunshine" Stacie yawned as she opened her eyes and stretched her arms Ellie just stayed frozen and stared into her eyes.

Oblivious to the tension building around them Stacie smiled at Ellie and asked "sleep well?" But there was no reply then she reached for Ellie's face to wipe off something but Ellie jolted up and fell to the ground, Stacie's touch made butterflies erupt in her stomach and she couldn't help but feel scared.
