When Bestfriends Fall In Love

Twenty five.......

"Okay El." Stacie sat on the bed, legs crossed. "Spill." She wanted to wait till Ellie was much better but she couldn't hold it back any more. Ellie had been acting all sus this week and she needed to know why. "Why were you there crying?"

Ellie's breath got hitched in her throat, she didn't know how to answer to that.

Tell the truth maybe? That wasn't even an option.

Lying was the best and only option she had now.

"Uhh things aren't working with Brent." She turned to face Stacie, speaking of Brent she needed to call him. He at least deserved an apology.

Stacie stared at her skeptically wondering whether or not to believe her.

"You're lying." She said after moments of silence.

"I'm not." Ellie tried to convince her.

"No you definitely are." Stacie said sure of herself, "you can't even look me in the eye." And Ellie realized she'd been looking down all along.

"I-" she opened her mouth to say but was cut off by Stacie.

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me though." Stacie said getting up from the bed, "you've been keeping a lot of things from me lately. From you forgetting our anniversary to you ignoring me. I don't know what is going on Ellie but I hope you tell me when you're ready."

And she exited the room leaving Ellie there alone.

Ellie sat there wondering if she'd made the right choice. If she was going to get over Stacie she needed to stay away from her.

Stacie feeling this way was a big help to her, she needed her to keep her distance. But then something in her didn't want to get over these feelings or stay away from her best friend.

But she knew what would happen if her secret was let out.

She was determined to get over her best friend no matter what it took.

Hiiii I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while.

So I'm saying I'm going to try my best to complete this book within this month.

Yeah you heard me right, I'll complete it before June runs out.
