7 years later..

"Shocks naiiyak ako... " sabi ko... at kunwari nagpunas ako ng luha.

Nagtawanan naman ang mga tao.

"Joke lang! sige ito seryoso na..."

I cleared my throat and lift my glass of champagne.

"To the girl who always encourage me....  Who always have my back.... Trish.... My coolest, truest and closest friend... You deserve to be happy! Cheers to both of you!"

Nagtaasan ang mga champagne glass ng mga tao as a congratulatory toast to the newly wedded couple.

"Wait lang... may pahabol pa ako....  At ikaw naman kuya, kung pinaiyak mo yan... kahit kapatid kita.... sa hukay ka na lang pupulutin!"

Natatawa si kuya at iiling-iling.

"Talagang mas mahal mo pa talaga sya kesa sa akin a!"

Without warning, mabilis na lumapit sa akin si kuya, he head locked me, at ginulo-gulo ang buhok ko! Much to my dismay!

"let go of me your freak!!!" Sinigawan ko sya pero pareho kaming nagtatatawa.

"Tigilan nyo na nga yan... hanggang dito ba naman?" sabi ni Trish pero nakikitawa din sya. Pinakawalan ako ni kuya, but this time inakbayan nya ako.

"Seriously kuya.. aalis na ako sa trono ko.. I have been your baby sister for the past years.. I will not deny na sobrang spoiled ako sa yo. Pinalaki mo kasi akog ganito! But this time, you have someone to take care of na, full time. I know that you will be a great husband and a great dad to your future kids.. If they only know how big your heart is......"

Tumingin naman ako sa bestfriend ko.

"and Trish.. take care of my kuya... all his life he has been taking care of somebody else, namely.. me! Kung alam mo lang kung gaanong sakit ng ulo ang binigay ko sa kanya."

"Oh yeah, you got that right!" sabat ni kuya at hinampas ko sya. Brutal lang ang peg ko ngayon.

"Ok fine... You're more than a brother to me... alam mo yan. You've been taking good care of me like some kind of a guardian. When all else fails... I know that you will always be there for me.... But in some ways... I feel na kailangan mo ng lumaya..." May mga naluluha pero natawa sila sa sinabi ko.
"You have a whole new world in front of you.. a whole new resposibility... So don't you worry about me na... I'll be fine."

Tumingin ako kay Trish.

"Well I guess it's time for him to be taken care of this time... And I know you'll do a great job.. You both deserve eachother... I love you both... I really do.. Hindi ko na kayo i-wi-wish ng successful marriage, because I know that you will definitely live a life that that is happily ever after."

"Awwwww Audrey..." Umiiyak si Trish ng yakapin nya ako. Sumabay na din si kuya at niyakap nya kaming dalawa. May luha din si kuya? Naks na-touch ata sya!

"Sige na... tama na yang kadramahan na yan! Let's party na!" sabi ko.

Everybody is in a festive mood. Kuya and Trish made a lovely couple. Who would ever know na silang dalawa pala ang magkakatuliyan?! nagulat nga din ako! Ang dating super fan na si Trish, e hindi naman masyadong pinapansin dati ni kuya. Nag-aral sa New York si Trish, si kuya naman inasikaso ang international career nya, and somehow they have crossed paths.. then BOOM!!! iyan na nga ang resulta.

May umakbay sa akin, at ng tumingala ako.. si daddy.

"Well said. Good job."

"Hmmmm... Syempre matured na ako... Kaya if ever na may napupusuan din kayo, wag kayong matakot na sabihin sa amin.. we will understand. You also deserve to be happy dad."
