15》physical therapy

"Your doing very well, better then I thought" the instructor says as she leads me down the hall of the building

I smile and continue walking

"Lets try walking by yourself" she says

I tell he I'm ready for no more assistance and I walk the rest of the way down the hall stumbling a little but making it there safely

"Good job!" She says clapping

I feel like a 7 month old walking for the first time and people cheering for me

"Ugh, I hate this" i pout to the instructor

"I know sweetheart, but soon you'll be running into burning buildings again"

"Hopefully" I say

2 weeks later

I have been making alot of progress with my walking I'm finally running again a mile at a time hopeing to increase my speed again

The funny thing is my one leg likes to go faster then my other one

But now I feel fully healed

I'm driving home from lunch with gabby when my phone starts ringing

I answer it without knowing who's calling

"Hello?" I ask
"Jennifer casey, hi it's dr. Rhodes from Chicago medical center. I'm calling to clear you for your work again your leg has heeled enough to do small jobs I already talked to your lieutenant he giving you small jobs to do just for now though" he says

"Oh my gosh thanks doc for the call, it means alot to be back at work" I say

"Your welcome, call me or dr. Halstead if you have any questions or concerns" he says

"Okay thankyou" I say

"Your welcome, goodbye" he says

"Goodbye" I say hanging up and putting my phone down and finish driving to my house

I get to my house to see Kelly's mustang in the driveway, I pull up behind his car and get out

I walk around his car and look into it, I don't see him

Where is he at?

I walk into my house after unlocking the door as I walk in I see Kelly on the couch

"Hey" he slurs

"Are you drunk?" I say dropping my bag and walking over to him

"No" he says defensively

I walk to the kitchen to get him some water

"Here" I say handing him the glass of water

"I'm sorry" he says looking at me

"For what kelly" I said helping him stand up

"I slept with this girl I met at mollys" he says tears in his eyes

My heart dropped into my stomach

"Kelly its okay, I'm not yours! I want to be, but I'm not...you can sleep with whoever you want" I say walking him up the stairs

He pushes me against the wall and kisses my neck

"Kelly" I moan as he continues

"Kelly stop" I say pushing him off

"Why, you wanted to a few months ago when we had sex in my Laundry room" he says holding my hand

"Kelly you don't understand how much I want you right now but your drunk, I'm not taking advantage of you" I say opening my bedroom door and walking in with Kelly
