Chapter 2: Melbourne.. here i come.
Flight 476 the plain will leave shortly, please make sure you are ready for take off to Melbourne.
I boarded the plain and found our three empty seats. "Goodbye perth, Melbourne here i come". i whispered just so that i could only hear myself. as i sat down i pulled out my small make up mirror, just too make sure i didn't look like a total freak from crying myself to the airport. i observed my face deeply picking out all my flaws. Yes like any other teenage girl i am not entirely happy with my appearnace but who is? the only thing that reassures me is compliments from my friends...that is my old friends.
i studied my dark brown eyes and tried to pick out the colour in them. they were so dark that they almost seemed black. my skin had cleared up from all the crying and i didn't look to shabby. I was happy that i had a healthy looking tan from the summer, and my hair was amazingly wavy today, so i decided on not straightning it.
"Love put that thing away, you'll give yourself a headache", Mum joked as Dad silently chuckled along. "Arggh, do i have to go to school on Monday? come on Mum its friday! a weekend isn't going to help me settle in!" Mum shook her head "The sooner, the better." Dad chimed in "And besides Kiddo, you don't want to miss youre first day of Penola now do you?" i sighed. "Yeah.. guess not". i said sarcastically. eventually i fell asleep.
"Wake up, we're here!!" Great... the nightmare has just begun.
