2 years later...

"H-O-O-NK" arghh does he have to be so loud? Mum laughed. "Ok Mum looks like thats my ride." Mum held my face in her hands. "Your growing up so fast, you're already a seniour." She was right. It was to be my first day as a year 12. a seniour. I knew she was right anyway, i had beein thinking this for the entire holidays. "Yeah". i said gazing up into her big green eyes. "sniff sniff okay you dont want to be late sniff." oh jeez. "Ma are you crying?" i laughed. "I'm still going to be here, always." she smiled. "I know... now go to school!" she chirped as i slung my bag over my shoulder and headed for the door.

"Took you long enough". Beau yelled out the window as i came running down the pathway. "Ahh yeah sorry Mum got caught in the moment, you know being a seniour and all." I hopped in the back with Luke and Jai. "Ahhh yes. The big time for yous guys ay. i remember my last seniour year like yesterday." Beau said gazing up into the sky dramatically. "Naar Beau you wouldn't, you hardly remember when your own Mothers birthday is." Jai teased. I remember when Beau was still in highschool as a seniour. It was the first time that i had ever met him. Luke introduced me to him and his mates at lunch. i clearly remember him saying "Just 2 more terms and im outta here!" he was head over hills. the memory was so clear to me. was that really 2 years ago?

The assembly lecture was so boring. All mrs Gregson was going on about was resposibilities and being good role models to younger students. It was so boring that James who sat behind me with Jai by his side began to plait my hair! "hay James, you should open your own hair salon." Jai chuckled. "Hmm great idea Jai." he held my long hair up to his head. i laughed along. "You think its my colour?" he joked. "Shhh be quite you three!" Miss Brodes hissed. "Yes Miss, sorry." replied James sympethitically. 

Finally, recess. I sat down at the bench waiting for every one else. I felt two cold hands cover my face. "Luke i know its you." I giggled. "You know me too well." he smiled and pulled me into a tight hug. "What was that for?" I laughed. "Well, today is officially the day that i have known you for 2 years." He was right. We still remain bestfriends and it had been two years. "And to celebrate, we are all eating Maccas tonight!" I laughed. he smiled. we were happy.

I twisted in my locker code, getting ready for english with Luke and James. "All good". I said slamming my locker shut. We sat in the back of the classroom at the same desks that Luke and i Use to sit in for Media last year. "L&M was here 2010." It was engraved on the side of my desk. I slid my hand over it and seceretly smiled. "Class we have a new student here with us today. Every one this is Christian." I looked up and saw the boy look shyly around the classroom. His big green eyes struck me and his hair was swept perfectly to the side with different shades of brown in it. He sat up  at the front with Alexis, who i very much disliked. She was just a bitch, she made my first day here at Penola hell, so good luck to the knew guy. She was clearly interested in him. All of the girls seemed to be.

"Over here!" Beau screamed waving his hands everywhere. Luke, Jai and I hopped in the back. "You're so embarassing." Jai hissed. "Well, unless you wanna catch the bus, be my guest.." Beau smirked. "So Maddi, how'd you like the new kid?" Jai said. "Oh, you mean Christian? umm i havn't spoken to him.. why?" I said seriously. "Well thing is, all the girls have the hotts for him, but apparantly he has the hotts for you." Jai teased. "Me? I havn't even spoken to him and i do NOT have the 'hotts' for him." i complained. I saw in the corner of my eye that Luke was smiling at the sentence that i had just said. "And plus Jai, how would you know that he likes her?" Beau sniggered. "Well, he tried out for the soccer team. In the change rooms us blokes asked him who he thought was the best chick out in the school. He was like umm that Madeliene Hart chick. Luke almost had a spaz." Jai laughed. "No, i just slammed my locker door coinsidently after he had said it." Luke blushed. "Well this is your stop." Beau slammed the breaks outside of my house. "Thanks." I climbed over Luke and jumped out.

I had only just noticed that the house next-door had a 'Sold' sticker on the billboard. Hmmm i wonder who my new neighbor could be?
