Was it really a good idea?
I let you in,
You broke my walls, my rules,
You should've stopped there.
I shouldn't have fallen,
You shouldn't have pretended.

We spend no time together,
It doesn't help you're loved by another.
We're drifting away from each other.
But so are the sides of my heart.
I shouldn't have fallen,
You shouldn't have pretended.

I fought for us,
And you lay back,
Watching.
Always watching, never helping.
I continued falling,
Even when you stopped pretending.

We continue on this broken fairytale.
My heart is joined by only a single stitch,
But it frays, and I fear it will not hold.
I can ask only one other thing,
Stop me from falling.
Even when you've stopped pretending.

So, I can really only say hi. And I also have to clarify. These poems are all written solely by me. If you would like to use them in any form (which I doubt you will) then you must contact me directly before doing so.
Thank you!!
