Purple Feathers

Purple feathers,
Was what she wore.
And with wrists made of sunflowers,
She was dazzling.
.
Like Eden Heather,
Her hair flowed across her face,
And with that gait that she strolled?
Breathtaking.
.
Fire in her eyes,
And fire in my veins as well,
Bring the heaviest traffic, i dare you,
When she moves, she slows down cars.
.
Bring the countries,
And the bombs & the guns,
And she'd stand in the middle, i tell you,
That her smile... Could stop wars.
.
And they won't move a muscle then,
For all we know, she's out of this world.
That to keep between her lips,
Instead of teeth, she stole stars.
.
So baffled is this universe, that,
Might be even God smiles,
He knows what perfection he sent.
She's breathtaking.
.
And within purple feathers,
She holds more than perfume, i know.
And only if she unfolded her wings,
Could you see her scars.
.
But people are fooled,
By the smile she keeps.
They only see the purple feathers,
And not the different faces.
.
She's a book,
In all her glory.
With a billion words maybe,
Engraved in stages,
On only perhaps, four pages.
.
One for how we loved,
Two for how we fight.
Three for all our darkness,
Immersed in light.
.
And the fourth of them all,
She keeps it hidden.
And stands ever taller,
After all the times she was beaten.
.
The fourth page of nightmares.
Etched along her failing mind,
The visions of dread she has,
The pure evil no one sees.
.
And today behind her smile,
No one could decipher,
The hurt that strikes at midnight,
Bringing her to her knees.
.
All the blood she loses,
Her skin grows ever pale still,
She calls for help but No Mercy oversees.
.
And after years she's still stuck,
On the fourth page.
Today she winks at death again,
Like a thousand other times.
.
Such stupid gallantry,
Death says.
That she chooses to avoid,
All my signs.
.
And the day we meet, I'll tell her,
About all the hearts she broke.
When I take her soul, I'll tell her,
She'll pay for a thousand crimes.
