_____√_____

They say the best facades are clothed,
So with this ink let me go naked today.

.
So that I let go forever,
Of you and maybe our memories.
And so I resort to oblige,
To solemnity today.

And here in this final solace,
I haul all my sorries,
To somewhere they are not welcome.
To you where they'll burn away.

For I may be forgotten,
But not forgiven for you coming undone,
.
So the lessons that we beget this time,
Are no more than lies again..

Woe to our imagined happy endings,
             Woe to all your lies,
Woe to all our miseries standing,
... And woe to all our ties.

Who said there was a happy ever after?
I'm still on my knees begging.
You fake all this endless laughter,
But I see all these tales they're ending.

And I write to you maybe this last time,
And my apologies may have no meaning.

So I stumble on all my rhymes now,
To fit in a happy ending.

So remember my winds as they scatter,
And breathe them in till you go insane.

When I'm standing outside your soul's door,
Bearing all your saddened rain..

A touch could flicker a fire,
To light up all my horizons again.

And I feel so familiar before you,
Drawing hearts on your window panes.

This time's no different either, Is it?
For once again It is I who failed.

But I know there must be more to cry for,

Because once upon a time,

Here in my direction too,
Your ships,
Slow, steady,
Yet so effortlessly sailed.
