Unexpected love

Chapter 7

Chris POV

It was now Sunday, and Eduardo Castelo messaged me last night about his family dinner and off course to invite my family.

I messaged my parents and they accepted the invitation. I really wasn't interested in going to see the Castelo family, but since business is an important role in my life I had no option but to attend the dinner.

All I had in mind was Lilian. I wondered what she was doing right now or if she had someone. In my bed was a necklace which was hers since she's the second woman that I've brought home and the only woman I will bringing home from now on.

Yesterday morning she pissed me off, how she didn't want me taking her home nor my driver. Which she ended up going. Lilian made me angry when she said meeting me and making love was a mistake, but something told me she was going through something and I wasn't going to pressure her. I had my driver tell me where he took her and I looked up the house and everything, but the owner of the house was some Gracie Vasquez.

I wondered if she did that on purpose or actually lived there. I forgot to ask her for her last name and had no idea where else to look for her.

I was so desperate to know where she lived and know more know more about her. Yet I had no clue, I was hoping I would see her soon or contact a investigator to find her.

As I was getting ready for the Castelo dinner, My mother messaged me asking driving with me, but since I just planned on having dinner and leaving. Since I know how good my parents are with talking to people and having long conversations I messaged my mother to drive separate.

Eric called me before I was about to leave and asking about some documents he left at my office which I ended up taking them home.

"Chris, brother I left these documents at your office late Friday before going to the club. Have you signed them?"

"Yes, I did brother, but I have them here in my office at home. What time are you leaving tomorrow morning?"

"I was actually planning on leaving at 6:00am, since it's an hour away from here."

"I'm headed towards your place. I should be there in fifteen minutes."

My life consists of business everywhere, and since Eric is the construction coordinator, he has to be moving everything for me. The dinner was at 6pm and it was 5:30pm I was almost to Eric's house.

I knocked at Eric door and a girl opened the door which she looked familiar. I she is one of Lilian's friends. I had to ask Eric if he knew Lilian's last name or where she lived.

"Hi, are you looking for Eric?"

"Babe who's at the work door? Chris my brother, how are you? Wanna come in"

"No thanks. I have that business dinner in a few, but here's those documents for tomorrow.

"Okay thanks bro, I'll talk to you later."

It was already 5:50pm and I was 15 minutes away from the Castelo house. I should of just told Eric to pick up those documents instead. Since there were traffic I knew I was going to be late. I called my father to let him know I'm on my way, but there is to much traffic and to apologize to Eduardo.

I parked outside of the Castelo's and  made my way towards the door. As I ranged the door bell, the door was opened and I could believe my eyes..
