Unexpected love

Chapter 16

It's been two weeks since Raphael broke into my house I have been staying at my parents, until I get everything cleared out. The police had been looking everywhere for Raphael, but there is no trace of him.

I was actually scared because not only Raphael broke into my house, but I still felt like I was being followed.

I haven't seen Chris this week. My father had told me that he's taking care of his other office that Eric used to help him. He also said that he's been asking about me. Which made me feel special, but I realized it was just because of what happened to my house. Just thinking of Chris made me feel like a teenager. God Lilian your twenty-three!

I've been getting messages from the girls to go with them to help them pick out their dresses since Andres' sister is getting married in two weeks and they have been crazy about it!

A day after what happened to my house Gracie and Andres went to my house. Andres and I were introduced and he invited me to the wedding, but I declined. Gracie was upset and told Andres that I would be there.

I had a long day at work and I decided to go shopping for some new furniture since my living room needed everything new.

I ordered had everything online and thought I could add more stuff. My father had my front and back door with a better security system and took off all glass. I was moving back tomorrow which I was supper excited.

I missed my house. It was small and comfortable, nothing like my parents' mansion. I had four rooms and three bathrooms and huge yard almost an acre. I had designed my house myself and have been living there for almost three years now.

I got done with my shopping and went back to my parents house.

"Honey, you made it just in time. I was about to call you."

"Hey mom, sorry I took forever. I went to go buy some stuff for my house."

"I'll have to see them after dinner! Gosh I can't believe your leaving tomorrow."

"Oh mother I'm not leaving out of state. You know my house it like twenty minutes from here."

"Yes, honey but why don't you just sell that house and move back with us."

"Mom, I want to make myself independent again. I've been living by myself three years now. Don't worry I'll come visit you guys."

"I know, but I like having my kids with me."

"Oh mom, come on let's go eat."

After we were done with dinner my father and mother helped me take out the stuff I bought today. My mom was super excited with everything I bought. My father just looked at everything and nodded.

"Lilian, Honey I had some people repaint everything and added more security to your house."

"Father, that wasn't necessary. I want to thanks you guys for everything."

Both of my parents hugged me and we all went to sleep.

It was 8am and I was excited about having everything done with my house. I was heading to my house and decided to buy some plants for my yard.

I had everything done by 4pm with organizing everything everywhere.

Jessica and Gracie had messaged me earlier about meeting with them for dinner. I took a shower and got ready. For some reason just the thought of food has been making me hungry. And decided to make something for the girls and I.

I met the girls at Gracie's house and I made prepared some enchiladas and some desserts. Dinner went well and Gracie and Jessica wouldn't stop talking about Eric or Andreas. I was tired from reorganizing my house so I drove back home.

As I was getting out of my car and going towards the door I felt a someone looking at me and I was pulled really hard.

"Hello darling, did you miss me?"

"Raphael leave now! I don't want you near me."

"No listen bitch your going to do what I say"

I started crying and he grabbed both hand with more pressure, then slapped me which I figured I would have a bruise later.

"Please Raphael!"

I heard someone behind us and grabbed Raphael and started punching him. I was pushed on the ground and I couldn't see who was that person. Soon Raphael was in the ground and it turns out to be Chris. Raphael ran away and yelled "I will be back and you will pay for this!"

"Lilian are you okay?"

He came towards me and I hugged him and continued to cry. "It's okay I'm here."

Chris carried me up and we got inside my house.
