Unexpected love

Chapter 23

Chris  POV

It has been two days after jacinto and I were released from the hospital I had received a phone call from Kimberly my ex. I had rejected her calls since she kept calling after I declined the first call and she had left three voicemails. Lilian was with her parents house helping out with her fathers party, that's within a couple weeks, so I decided to listen to the voicemails.

"Chris if you hear this please, take care of Lilian. Raphael rapped my sister Sarah  and is in coma because of him. He's out looking for a way to get Lilian. Please call me"

How the hell does she know Lilian. I hoped Sarah would make it through. Im going to make that bastard pay for all he's done. I thought to myself 

I called Kimberly and she explained everything it boiled my blood and I knew I had to keep Lilian safe with me. I messaged her father and told him if he could come to the my house, but without Lilian. I didn't want her to worry especially since she's pregnant.

The moment I heard Lilian say our baby as I was unconscious I couldn't do anything but listen. A baby I was going to be a father, Lilian and I were going to parents.

I had to take care of Lilian and since Raphael knew where I lived, I had to take her somewhere safe. I had recently purchased a new home and I decided that's where Lilian and I were going to stay until Raphael was arrested.

Mr Castelo showed up at the house within an hour.

"Chris, son is everything okay."

"Yes, but we need to talk it's regarding Lilian."

"What's wrong with my daughter."

I showed him the voicemails I had from my ex Kimberly and talked to him about keeping her safe.

"My daughter can stay at my house, if that's what your worried"

"I'm worried cause she's having my baby."

"She's What"

"As you heard Lilian and I are expecting a baby and I love her. I've told you before how I feel about your daughter."

"Well, since there a baby on the way I can't take you away from my daughter. Your a good man, I know you'll make my daughter happy and keep her safe."

"Thank you."

Eduardo stayed and we talked about business and more ways he expand our business and also some colleagues of mine that wanted to do business with him. Lilian got back to my house along with her mother. Her parents stayed for dinner and they both left.

"Chris why was my father here?"

"You know business stuff, I referred some friends of mine and we needed to talk about it."

I didn't want her to worry about Raphael being out and going after her so told her the business part that her father and I spoke about.

We were both in the living room watching a movie and suddenly Lilian asked

"Chris, why did you want us to stay here in this house, couldn't we stayed at my house or go back to your other house."

"Well, since I designed and constructed this house I thought it was better than the other one. Plus it's closer to both company's you and we wouldn't have to drive more."

"Chris are you sure that's the reason?"

"Yes, babe what other reason were you thinking."

"I don't know, I was thinking about the accident you and Jacinto had. It's just I feel like it's my fault."

"No sweetheart, it's not your fault and don't even think about it. Jacinto and I are both fine, please don't have any of those thoughts. Think about our little baby girl growing inside you. What names would you like for our princess."

"Chris it's just I wished nothing would of happened you! Plus how do you know it's going to be a girl it might be a boy."

"Well, in that case we can just keep trying and trying. I would love to have more kids wouldn't you?"

"I would too. My mother only had three and since I was the youngest. My siblings rarely spend time with me."

I grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Well at least you had someone, I didn't really have anyone. My mother couldn't have anymore children after giving birth to me."

"Your mother is such a great woman, that most have been hard for her."

"It was, but if you think about it's not since you and I are going to give her lots of grandchildren."

We were sitting on the couch and I brought her  face towards me and kissed her gently. "I love you Lilian. Come one lets get you and our baby to bed."
