Unexpected love

Chapter 24

It's been a two weeks since Chris was released from the hospital and he wanted me to stay at this new house he recently purchased.

The police haven't found Raphael, but have been looking for him everywhere. I really wasn't comfortable with Raphael being out. I was scared that anything would happen to Chris or anyone in my family. I just had this instinct that he would come back for me.

It was 6:30am and I had to use the restroom. As I was trying not to wake Chris up and untangle myself from him.
"Good morning beautiful, where do you think your going."

"Chris I need to use the restroom."

"Fine, but come right back it's to early and you need to to rest."

Ever since Chris found out I was pregnant he's been so overprotective. I can't do anything by myself and wants to know what I do. I mean it's nice, but I'm capable of doing things on my own.

I went back to bed and I snuggled on to me and went down to my stomach and kissed it.
"Good morning baby let's go to sleep."

I looked at Chris the way he talked to our unborn baby it made my heart melt.

Chris made his way towards me after kissing my stomach and kissed my lips.
"God I can't ever seem to get enough of you."

"Me either."

Chris started taking off my night gown and making his way down towards my stomach again. "Daddy's is going to make love to mommy instead. You go to sleep and daddy is going to show mama how much he loves her."

I smiled when he talked to my stomach again. It was so cute. I never thought Chris would be this happy about my pregnancy. He was already saying that the baby is going to be a girl and then after the baby would be born we would work on having a few more babies.

"Chris isn't this to soon for you I mean doctor told us not to over do things."

"Oh trust me it's not."

He started with my nipples and sucked one at a time until both were red. I kept moaning and he came up to my lips for a kiss and moved down towards my legs. "God you taste amazing." He made himself inside gently and slow soon we moved in the same rhythm and reached our climax.

My fathers birthday party was this week and I decided to tell my parents and his that we were having a baby. I wanted to wait for my fathers party, but Chris was too happy for our baby and had to tell everyone before.

For some reason, these past few days when Chris dropped me off work I felt I was being looked at and I just knew it was Raphael.

I didn't want to worry Chris and decided just to ignore it. I was hoping it was the pregnancy that made me overthink things, but I knew for sure someone was looking at me.

It was Friday  afternoon and Chris was had received a phone call and went to another room to talk. It kind of bothered me that he would go outside or into another room whenever someone would call him. I've noticed he's been doing or when he received  text messages. I wasn't a nosy person, but I knew Chris was hiding something.

I woke up the next day and Chris woke up really early and told me he had a meeting at his office that he would be right back within a two-three hours or so and to get ready for my father's birthday.

Ten minutes past by and I took my phone out and looked at where Chris was and it said a hospital. Why would Chris be at a hospital if he told me he had a meeting at his office? I thought to myself.

I ate breakfast and got the house cleaned. I was getting ready and he got home right like he said within an three hours. He came towards me and kissed my lips and my stomach.

"Babe, can I ask you were you were?"

"Sweetheart, I was at a meeting."

"Chris cut the lies, you were at a hospital."

"Yes, I was. I didn't want to worry you and hoped for you not to find out."

"What is it, tell me ."

"It's about Raphael."

"What did he do."

"Lilian, love I know today's your father's birthday. Why don't we talk about it later"

"No tell me."

"Remember that I told you Raphael was with my ex Kimberly."

"Yes, what does she have to do now"

"Raphael was hiding at her place and he rapped her sister and thanks to him she's in coma. Kimberly mentioned that Raphael's planning on taking you."

"Is this why you wanted me to stay here."

"Yes, I know I should have been honest with you, but I didn't want to stress you it could harm our daughter."

"Chris, either way you should of told me."

"I promise no more secrets. I'm want to keep you and our daughter safe here at this house."

We reached the venue and surprised my father before he got there. My niece Amy ran towards Chris and I.

"Uncle Chris and Aunty, can you please give me cake and cookies."

"Of course we can princess, I'll take you." Chris told her.

Amy sat with us and soon my sister and brother-in-law left which meant Amy had to leave.

"Mommy, daddy can I stay with aunty Lily and uncle Chris, Please."

"No honey, you have Sunday school tomorrow remember."

Amy left and I told Chris I had to use the restroom. I went towards the girl room and suddenly the lights went out. I grabbed my phone to turn on the flashlight and also heard people bragging so I assumed the light was also out.

As I was done I went to wash my hands and I was covered with a hand on my mouth and was pulled out of the restroom. I tried everything to get out that person's grip, but it was impossible. My only thought was that this person wouldn't hurt me or my baby inside me.
