The next day Larry and Laurent was a little more protective than usual. I woke up to cameras being placed all around the house. I really wish I understood what was going on or they would at least tell me. They just would say everything's fine non worry belle. But I was. I noticed high ranking vampires coming and going as Larry and Laurent pleaded for some type of seal protection on me. I didn't quite know what that was but whatever it was they were desperate to get it.The elders seem to take their plead seriously but informed them that it would take some time to put into work. They said they would get back to them in the next couple of days. They also told them that it was important that they told me what I was what I really was.
What I am? What in the hell did they mean by that? Nothing was really making sense to me nobody would tell me anything. Each time I asked I was fed the same line over and over again "it wil all e revealed."  I never felt that I was different but since becoming a vampire. I have noticed stuff like how my eyes are not the same as the other vampires. How I'm stronger and faster than the others. At first I thought it was because I was a newborn but that stage had come and gone. I also could fly and change my form. The only vampiric weakness I had was the whole stake through the heart thing but in fairness if you stick stake through a human heart they would die too. At first I was convinced it was just gifts like Larry and Laurent could see into the future. They also could control the mood of others which is not to be confused with glamor all vampires had the ability to do that. Once the elders left I had more questions more than ever but still no answers. I head down stairs deep in thought. I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts by a sound. I perched myself on the railing as I peered through the wall to see what was causing the ruckus. My eyes glowing and I was seeing red which told me danger was near. I couldn't see anything so I jumped back down. I continued to walk down the steps. I wasn't sure when this latest ability started but I guess it could come in handy. As I entered the sitting room a feeling swept over my body that made my skin crawl. Someone was coming and it wasn't going to be a friendly visit. Larry walked up the steps noticing me just staring at the wall. He noticed my eyes glowing and called Laurent.
My body was present in the room but my mind was following the would be intruder.
"I wonder what she see?" Larry asked.
"I no know but she been like this for long time."
Finally I gasped sucking much needed air back into my lungs. Before the twins could ask me anything I fainted.
The twins watched over me as I slept. I kept mumbling something in an ancient language one older than the language of the ancient vampires. They twins recorded it thinking it was something of importance. When I had awakened they played it for me but I was no help cause I didn't know how to translate it.
"No worry bebe." Laurent said as he sat down at the computer playing the words into a language data base. Finally it was translated.
"She who stands before the dead king has arisen."
"What in the hell does that mean." I asked.
"I no know but it sound like a warning." Larry said
"A warning for what though."
"I no know bebe." Laurent shrugged.
I had more questions but we had to get ready to hunt. Truthfully they had just as many questions as I did. I got dressed only to be told that I couldn't hunt on my own tonight. I begin to wonder if they had doubt in my ability to defend myself or was there something more well I guess I will have to figure it out later.
