Pecunia
The Old Gods are on their way out.
And they have been. For years. They just haven't accepted that fact.
The New Gods are the up and comers and they are made to last...for the moment.
But then there are gods like Pecunia, who have been around since the first selling of goods was made, and they've only gotten stronger. He's only gotten stronger. Pecunia, Latin for wealth, bribe, property, sum, funds, money. Money, money, money – it really is what makes the world go round. As the song goes, the times are a'changing and the needs of the common people, of humans, are constantly changing with them. But money? Money is the one thing they've needed since before they'd even heard of Jesus Christ.
Pecunia is never short of worshippers and their needs and beliefs in the power of the almighty dollar keep him young and strong, something old Mr. Wednesday needs for his side of the war. But Technical Boy has made it clear things are better on his side, that he's really one of them.
