"I already know what you're going to say and it is out of the question! What you're thinking of is revenge!"

"No, Arthur, I'm thinking about justice. For God's sake, Bertie recruited me! The least I can do is ensure that his killer pays for their crimes. He'd do the same for any of us."

"If that's the mentality he held, then perhaps Lamorak wasn't Kingsman material after all. And perhaps you aren't either."

"I'm as much Kingsman material as anyone else at this table. With or without your blessing, I will conduct my own investigation."

When fellow Kingsman agent and dear friend, Bertram "Bertie" Ashworth, codename Lamorak, is murdered on a simple reconnaissance mission, Joan takes the case for her own, despite much protest from her superior. As it turns out, she's not the only one on the trail of Bertie's murderer, Victoria Vinciguerra. The primary directive of all Kingsman agents is absolute discretion, but that might be a tad bit difficult with odd team the CIA and KGB put together with former art thief and war profiteer, Napoleon Solo, and Russian loose-canon, Illya Kuryakin. Circumstances force the reluctant trio of spies to temporarily align to stop the Vinciguerra family and their plans of nuclear war.
