Angelica Wu aka Yōulíng

(Legends of Tomorrow fic idea I had, planned title was "The Spectre", but never went beyond the basic idea that she was an assassin from the 22nd that got stuck in the past, trying to kill Rip when he thinks he's a film student. I never even managed to figure out how or why, but ultimately planned that she'd be a reluctant, temporary teammate of the Legends.)

"Gideon, run facial recognition. I want to know who the hell that was!"

"Right away, Captain Lance. Searching...I've found her. Angelica Wu. Official records are sparse. The few that exist indicate the likelihood that she was the master assassin and mercenary known as Yōulíng – "The Spectre". An expert martial artist, marksman, multi-linguist, skilled acrobat and gymnast, she is globally accredited with over a hundred kills."

"A ninja assassin. Perfect! As if we don't have enough problems already."

"I apologize for the bad news, Dr. Palmer, but I'm afraid there's more. The height of The Spectre's work spanned the early 22nd century. All record of Miss Wu and, subsequently, The Spectre, disappeared approximately on April 13, 2198, where she was last seen exiting LaGuardia airport."

"Well that certainly begs the question: how did she end up in 1967?"

"Honestly, Grey, I'm more concerned with why she wants to kill Rip."

Anna Mei-Lin Martha Pennyworth

(Anna was a creation from a 'if they had a kid' meme on my Tumblr. My friend Catherine requested a kid for my OC, Jun, and her pairing Alfred and Anna was born from that ask.)

Anna Mei-Lin Martha Pennyworth. Yup, two middle names; just like her father! Anna was named for both of her late grandmothers (okay, so Alfred's mother's name isn't listed anywhere but his father's name is Jarvis so I stole from the MCU and said his mother's name is Anna), and for her mother's late best friend, Martha Wayne, to honor her and all the good she'd done for Jun. Unlike most of her friends, both are parents are still alive, still married, and still madly in love with each other. Not to mention she's sort of their "miracle baby" since her parents were well over the safe age to have kids. She doesn't take that for granted by playing favorites with them. Sure, one is in her good graces a little more than the other from time to time but, overall, she loves them both to pieces. Although she probably takes after her mother more than her father. Fashionista, witty, too smart for her own good, perceptive – just like her mother. And, if nothing else, she has her mother's patented eye roll, which is usually directed at her father when he's being ridiculously overprotective, much to his chagrin.

Always looks presentable and professional; takes great care and pride in her appearance. Highly intelligent. Quick wit; cheeky. Tenacious. Perceptive. Independent. Fiercely loyal and devoted to love ones. Resourceful. Snooper; willing to overstep legal and ethical boundaries if the occasion calls for it. Insatiably curious. Honest; usually straightforward and blunt without thoughtful delivery. Tends to hold grudges; doesn't forgive or forget a slight easily. Confidante and "vault" for all her friends. Extremely prideful; probably her worst flaw.

She has a photographic memory and a talent for getting a knock-out story in moments before the deadline. Anna's a reporter for the Gotham Gazette; one of the only reporters who isn't on the take or afraid to tackle the mob stories with some help from a special anonymous source cough*Batman*cough. She can throw a mean right hook, but can't actually fight. Not even if her life depended on it. Her parents wanted to teach her some kind of self defense (her mother does aikido and her father boxing and, hello, they live in Gotham City) but neither skillset ever took aside from that right hook. To satisfy her parents that she's taking some sort of safety precautions, Anna carries around a taser that "big brother" Bruce had custom made for her. Its voltage isn't exactly what you'd call "legal". Which helps since she's spectacular at getting into trouble and, if talking her way out of it doesn't work, the taser certainly does.
