Bella's POV
I cannot believe the wedding is over, all the hard work we put into it was worth it.
Elaine looked amazing, her dress fit amazingly and her hair looked amazing.
Alice stood close to me, staring down at the leaving crowds from the tall balcony.
"It was a good night, huh?"
She asks, giving me a smile.
I nod and continue to watch the guests.
"It is a shame that they won't get a proper honeymoon till after the battle. I'm sure they will have fun in Seattle though."
I frown a little at this, I feel so bad that because of me, Elaine and Carlisle could not leave for their honeymoon right away.
Edward walks through the doors from inside the house.
"Beautiful ladies, how are we doing on this fine night?"
He asks.
We both smile and Alice begins talking animatedly about how great the night went.
I can't help but keep thinking about how I get in the way of everything.

Elaine's POV
I change into my departure outfit in Carlisle and I's bathroom, he decided to mingle with the guests as they leave.
Looking in the mirror, I straighten out my white blouse and tuck it into my black jeans. Then, I lace up my grey high heeled boots and grab my pink Kate Spade bag.
I cannot believe I am married, after waiting all these years, I finally get to be with the one person I love.
I walk out of the room to see Alice, Bella, and Eddie standing on the porch.
I smile, glad that they all feel at home with one another. I knock on the doorframe and they all look at me.
"Hey, guys. We are about to leave and I'm gonna throw the bouquet."
Alice squeals in delight and tugs onto Bella's arm. Bella let's out a long sigh but follows. I wait for Eddie, he walks close to me and puts his arm around me. We follow Bella and Alice as they bounce down the stairs.
When we get downstairs, Eddie kisses me on the forehead and walks to stand next to Bella.
Carlisle walks up to me and grabs onto my hand that doesn't have the flowers in it. We walk outside to see all the guests on each side of us, hands full of grains of rice.
They begin to throw the rice at us, as we make our way down the path.
We both laugh and shield our eyes. When we get to the end of the path, I throw the bouquet over my shoulder. To my surprise, Bella is the one who catches it. I smirk at Eddie as Charlie glares at him.
"Congratulations, guys. Have fun! But not too much fun! You've got a full house as it is!"
Charlie says while we are saying our final goodbyes.
I smile but can't help but feel a little sad.
Carlisle and I will never have kids of our own.
Waving goodbye as we drive away, I can't help but have tears swelling my eyes.
For a little bit, the car is silent but it's a relaxing quiet.
Seattle is only about a 45 minute drive so it doesn't take too long to get to the hotel and get settled in.

Bella's POV
It's interesting, Elaine and Carlisle are so close to being parents to me, I can't help but feel a little sad to see them leave for a few days. I know it's selfish but Lane is the only person I can really talk to. It's going to be a long couple of days without her.
When they get back, the battle will commence and life as we all know it will change.

Carlisle's POV
After getting checked into the room, Elaine excuses herself for a moment to freshen up and get changed again.
When she comes out, she is in a silky pink top and shorts with lace on the trim.
I can't help but think about how great it is going to be to get it off of her.
She smirks when she sees me looking, and says,
"Alice. That Pixie can't help herself." She laughs as she sits on the bed across from me. I smirk and look down,
"Well, I love it."
I hear a smile in her voice as she asks,
"You do?"
I nod and look back up to see her biting her lip.
I scoot closer to her and move a stray hair from her face.
"It's not like it's our first time, so why am I so nervous?"
She whispers, making me laugh.
"You've got nothing to be nervous about."
With that, she leans into me and kisses me deeply.
I grab onto her waist and pull her closer.
I push her back onto the bed and get on top of her, she smiles up at me and I can't help but think about how blessed I am.
