Lizzy's Pov

"I'm sorry but I think you have the wrong person." I gathered as much of my dress as I could in my hands and started to walk away quiet quickly. "Thank you for your hospitality but I think it will be best if I left."

"I'm not mistaken. You are my daughter. You are Evelyn." She said to me, catching up to me.

I stopped abruptly. "I'm Elizabeth. I am really sorry but I do think you have the wrong person."

The rocks crumbled underneath my feet as I began to try and figure a way out. There were tunnel after tunnel and who knows where I may of ended up if I picked on at random. I sighed, closing my eyes, before turning around.  "Would you please show me the way to get out?"

The lady nodded, folding her hands in front of her to stop them from fidgeting. "I will, but only if you give me the opportunity to speak. I won't take very long."

I glanced up at the roof top, trying to see through the small gaps. I had no idea where I was on the beach and the wedding was going to start very soon.

"You have five minutes."

Phillip's POV

The beach slowly transformed into a  wedding reception like a scene change in a play. It was exactly what Lizzy had planned for the inside yet more beautiful. Idyllic.

Helen and Caroline were playing in the golden sand, building castles upon castles as everyone waited for W.D and Ailsa. We still had a good three quarters of an hour until they were to arrive so most people were now sitting and talking. Laughing about anything and everything.

I kept thinking back to what W.D had said the other night, or moreover what I had said to W.D. Going away from all this, taking a break. I mean the circus is our home but I'm not sure if Lizzy will want to leave so soon after I've been away. Maybe she might but I would have to talk to her about it, I don't want to spring it on her or anything like that. She is still adjusting to everything, I can see it. Despite how hard she tries to hide it. The flinch when a there is a loud noise that replicates a gun shot, the look in her eyes that she gets whenever she sees a child. We haven't even talked about any of that! I mean, she probably thinks that if she doesn't talk about it then it will go away. So she just makes herself busy, really busy with all the wedding stuff.

I need to talk to Lizzy.

I glance around the crowd trying to pick Lizzy out but this has no success. "Has anyone seen Lizzy?" I yell out and Cassie is the only one to speak up with an answer rather than a shake of the head.

"I saw her go for a walk up the beach, near the rocks. I think she just wanted to clear her head or something." Cassie tells me as she adjusts a fallen butterfly.

I begin to walk up the beach, following the small footprints which I can only hope to be Lizzy's. Everyone else doesn't seem phased by Lizzy wandering off but I know her. She doesn't wander off by herself unless something is playing on her mind.

I follow the footprints until they trail off onto the rocks. The rocks crumbled ever so slightly under my feet and I notice that there are only two options of places to go. One of them is into the water and the other is down the tunnel on my left. I kneel down and pick up a slither of blue silk fabric and I know whose dress this is.

I just hope you're okay Lizzy.  I think as I start to climb down the tunnel.
