I ran towards his unconscious body.

I immediately checked for his carotid artery and felt his very weak pulse.
O my gosh… shittttt.
I removed my rubberized pony-band from my hair to use it as a tourniquet
I placed it above the incised wound to control the bleeding.
I looked for my phone to call for an ambulance.
“o my gosh, come on! Pick it up!” I shouted over the phone…

I kept on walking to and fro.
I kept on glancing at the ER’s door.
I feel so helpless.
i already called his parents...
and they're on their way here...
his family were on vacation in Palawan.
he didn't come with them because he wants to be with me...
i mean for the longest time that we were together in californa ay hindi pa siya nasawa.
he still chosed me over his family...
but here i am...
what kind of girlfriend am i?
“Kath!” I turned to face my other bestfriends aside from julia.
“Yanna…Alyssa” I said. It was barely audible.
They hugged me…
“kath…okay ka lang ba?” yanna asked me sincerely.
I shook my head…

“The bleeding is under control but we need to transfuse at least a unit of whole blood, you can go to the laboratory for further instructions.”

“We’re very sorry. We were informed that the patient’s blood type is currently unavailable. Unfortunately none of you matched his blood type”
The laboratory personnel coordinated with the Department of Health Blood Bank and was informed that dom's blood type wasn’t available…
So we need to bleed a donor.
Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo.
None of us matches his blood type.

There’s only one person I know who has that blood type….
