Bullets fly rapidly as I shoot at my target with precision. A loud boom erupts in the calm silence. A flock of birds fly away from the tall emerald trees surrounding me. I take a deep breath of fresh air and channel my anger to focus. One by one the glass bottles in my view shatter into tiny pieces. Tony joins my side and nods in approval before patting my shoulder.
"That was good." He smiles. I reload my gun and set the targets at a farther distance.
"Not good enough. I need to be perfect." I mumble stressfully and he sighs.
"Don't beat yourself up. It takes time."
"I'll never forgive myself not shooting Iris when I had the chance. A part of me knew I could get my shot in and save Davina before the bomb exploded, but my fucking nerves got the best of me." I shake my head.
"You're taking all this on too heavily. If you keep this up you'll lose yourself in the need to get vengeance. Trust me, that's a tough path to come back from."
"It's my fault Davina is stuck with Dimirti right now. I wasn't quick enough."
"I want you to meet someone." Tony says and I raise a brow at him. "She's a good friend and I think you guys can relate to a lot of things. She might even be able to teach you something." He offers and I smirk.
"How do you know her?"
"Uh, that's not important." He rubs the back of his neck and laughs lightly.
"Come on, tell me." I urge him.
"I'm seeing her, and she works for Zayn as well." He tells me.
"Oh really, what does she do?"
"She's kind of like his personal assassin. She's very skilled at what she does, I think you can learn a thing or two from her. She'll be stopping by later this week." He says. I widen my eyes intriguingly.
"I can't wait." I chuckle.
When we walk back into the house and as soon as we enter I overhear Amir and Zayn arguing in the dining room.
"I don't understand why there's no update on her. Its been weeks, she has to at least have a way to contact us." Amir argues.
"It's too risky, we already fucked up the first time. I need men and shooters. Dimirti is not going to just let her leave his side." Zayn says.
