The sun rises, and there was no sound of any infected. Kelly was right when she said that the infected would follow the group when they leave. Tyler was looking out of the window of the house the group stayed in. He couldn't believe that his best friends Kevin, Braden and Mike left him there. He couldn't believe that Kelly left him there. A tear went down his cheek, but he wiped it away with his hand. He looked over to Diana, who was sleeping on the bed. He had untied her when everyone left. She seemed thankful.

Tyler opened his backpack and pulled out a can of baked beans. He didn't know how they would open it. Then he remembered that Kevin had said that he would leave a weapon for Diana near the from entrance. He rushed out of the room and ran down the stairs. He saw a weapon there, but it was small. It was a kitchen knife. He was expecting something bigger, but he thought that maybe the group didn't want to leave a valuable weapon behind. He grabbed it and went over to the kitchen. He stuck the knife through the top of the can of beans. He tried to lift the top of with the knife, but it wouldn't budge. He was afraid of breaking the knife because as he tried lifting the top off the knife was bending. He decided to try something different. He looked through all of the drawers for something to open the can with. Luckily, he found a can opener. He remembered Kevin trying to use it last night, but he tossed it to the ground in a fit of rage. He was lefty so he could barely use one, the group wanted to see if it was true.

Tyler chuckled to himself has he stuck the can opener to the top of the can and started to open it. He pulled the top off and grabbed a fork from one of the drawers. He ain't it in silence. He thought about how the group was doing, but then he shook his head. Who needs them? They abandoned us. I just hope Kelly is okay. Tyler still loved Kelly, but he was angry at her. He angrily stuck a forkful of beans in his mouth. The beans still tasted fine, but he would have preferred to have cooked it over I fire. How do you make a fire again? I could use my glasses on the sun, put where can I make one? No, I shouldn't. I can attract those things to this house. How long are we going to stay here for? I don't even know. "God damnit!" Tyler yelled as he got up and flipped his chair over. He dropped his can of beans and fork on the table, spilling some of the beans on the table. "Why the fuck did you leave me?" Tyler had his hands to his head. He started to cry. "Kelly why? I thought you loved me."

Just then, Diana was at the bottom of the stairs and stared at Tyler. Tyler awkwardly grinned and waved. She looked shocked. She was about to run back up the stairs when Tyler stopped her by running forward and grabbing her shoulder. "Wait! Let me explain myself."

"What the hell were you doing?" Diana asked in a stern voice with a disgusted look on her face.

      This attitude made Tyler falter.

Diana leaned her face a bit towards Tyler's. "Answer my question. What the hell were you doing?"

"I-I-I" Tyler let go of Diana, he wasn't sure what to say. He didn't want to seem like a psychopath.

"I-I, what?" Diana was mimicking Tyler in an insulting way, making him seem handicapped.

"I was thinking about Kelly and the others, okay?" Tyler was yelling. "I was angry at the fact they left us!"

Diana slapped Tyler across the face. Then she pointed her finger at him. "Don't you ever yell at me ever again!" Diana pushes him away from her. "Sorry to tell you, but you were the one who wanted to stay here!"

Tyler backed away. He was starting to regret his decision. He was starting to wish that he had listened to the group. "You're a fucking monster!"

Diana smiled at him, it was a mean smile. "And with the Lord's help I will get through this and live my life!"

Tyler gritted his teeth. "No! How do you expect God to help you if you're acting like this? In fact, I think He doesn't even exist!"
