Tyler pulled a lever in Kevin's car to open the trunk. He heard it click and walked over to it. He opened it up and his eyes widened. There was still a lot of supplies in the trunk. He picked up a duffle bag and dropped it on the floor. He zipped it open and pulled out a pot. He realized the duffle bag was full of ingredients. He then pulled out the piece of paper on how to build a bomb, a gift he received from Miguel. He opened it and flipped to the bag, where he saw some notes written on the back. The handwriting was sloppy but still legible. It read ingredients for another bomb. Tyler read to himself in a low voice. "Fertilizer, any type of plastic bottle, and propane."
Tyler then folded the piece of paper and shoved it in his pocket. He picked up a backpack and put it on, it was Braden's. He then picked up a lacrosse stick. They found it when they stayed in the school. It was in the closet along with a couple of others. The two others where still in the truck, but Tyler only needed one weapon, event though it wouldn't really be effective. There was nothing else in the trunk, so he closed it shut. He was about to walk to Lissette's car when he noticed something, blood near Kevin's. He walked up to it, not realizing it before. There was a dried blood spot next to the front passenger side. He took a step back and stepped on something. He looked down and saw an arrow. He picked it up and examined it. It was a hard plastic arrow with a metal tip and plastic feathers.
Tyler heard a BANG! near him and dropped the arrow. He looked around in panic. "Who's there?" Tyler shouted, holding up his lacrosse stick. He heard no response and slowly backed to Lissette's car. He faced the direction of where he heard the noise, it came from a house in front of him with broken windows and an open door. He was know behind the car, still facing the house. His breathing and heart rate accelerated as he opened the driver's door. He still saw the keys in the ignition, but he couldn't use it because the from side of the car was totaled. The number fell off an the hood of the car was crumpled. Even one of the head lights was cracked and the other was broken. He looked in the backseats and saw Kelly's bag. His eyes widened and he went to grab it. He opened the door and took it out. He couldn't carry it on his back, She he decided to hold it with one hand. He then opened the trunk by pulling the lever by the driver's side and looked through the contents for anything of value. He saw the board games, but left them alone. He then saw a big jug of water. He licked his lips as he reached for it. Then he stopped, he realized he couldn't carry it with everything else he was carrying. He then tried to put Kelly's bag on top of Braden's. It was uncomfortable, but it worked. He took out the unopened jug and dropped it to the floor.
Forgetting about the noise Tyler heard he dropped to the floor on his butt, leaning on the car. He took off Kelly's bag and zipped it open, finding water bottles and canned food. He took a water bottle and desperately drank from it. He drank half of it when he realized he still hasn't eaten anything. He pulled out a can of ravioli, but he dropped it. He looked at his arm with the bandage and saw that it was soaked. Then he started to feel the pain. The excitement and worry of seeing the cars made him ignore the fact that he was seriously injured. He gritted his teeth and squeezed the water bottle. He started to cry. He was upset by the fact that he knew that his friends were in danger. He knew that one of them got hurt. He yelled and tossed the water bottle, putting both hands on his head.
All of a sudden he heard footsteps. They were running towards him. He stopped and looked over to wear it was coming from. His eyes widened in fear when he saw three girls ran towards him, holding bows in their hands and arrows on their back. The lead one stopped the others from getting to close. She was tall and slender. She had glasses and wore a red sweatshirt with black leggings and red Jordan's. She was also black and had frizzy short hair. She looked at Tyler and slowly approached him. She pointed her wooden club at him. "Who the fuck are you."
