I lazily laid on the lounge as I flicked through the magazine. I yawned contently as my eyes flicked over the luscious items that the magazine offered.

Sighing, I look around my apartment. It was small and minimal, but I didn't care. I had everything that was necessary for me to have.

I have shelter and food and utilities and warmth. It is more than enough. I can afford the fancy TV and the magnificent couch, a huge bar, but I don't want to.

I'm happy with my one bedroom apartment. I don't even use the bedroom for its purpose. That's filled in racks and racks of clothes, shelves for my shoes and other necessities for my job.

I stay crashed out on my sofa bed, in the middle of my apartment.

I got up and nibbled on some crackers as I checked the time. I don't have any events on tonight, but maybe I can snag one. I'm bored here.

I enjoy my job, working as an escort, on my own time and my own rules. I don't have to sleep with them if I don't want to and I get paid luscious amounts.

I quickly showered and wrapped my robe around me.

It was like luck was on my side, my phone tinged and as I looked away from my reflection in the mirror, I saw the message.

"Crystal." I muttered to myself as I rang her back. I hate texting.

"Hey." Came her scratchy voice.

"Oh, you're sick." I grumbled out in a fake tone. Good. Maybe I can get a job tonight.

"Hey. Harvey, I have a job I can't do tonight. A Mr Adam Gilbert."

"That's one of my clients!" I gasped out.

"I know. I'm sorry. Can you take him or not?"

I groaned. "I guess. I don't have anything else to do."

"Great. Pick up in two hours. From the manor."

"Great." I hung up. That bitch! She stole one of my clients. I know Adam doesn't mind swapping girls, but I do. I like to only handle about five jobs at a time.

Some of the other girls juggle as many as they can, I think it's too hectic, especially if you don't want to be recognised as a call girl. Which I don't.

I sat down and put my face on, applying my make up, fake eyelashes and finishing my hair.

Mr Adam Gilbert is high end. He loves the fancy life, anything that starts at ten thousand dollars and you'll see him there.

I went to my room and slipped on a slick silver strapless dress and zipped myself up, before placing my feet into some high heeled stilettos.

I gave myself a look over, twisting from one side to the other. I'm not one that makes sure my clothes match my appearances.

I have pale skin, so what. My hair is a strawberry blonde, couldn't care less. As long as I'm a size eight, I'm happy with that.

I slipped downstairs to find my driver waiting for me to take me to the manor.

"Afternoon, Larry." I purred as I slid in to the car.

"Miss. Busy evening?" He asked me. His voice was gruff but he was slightly shy too, which I thought was strange for being a chauffeur and security.

"Not sure yet."

"Make the most of it." He smiled as I tapped away at my phone. I always made sure it was fully charged. I logged in to my app, letting me know the manor was coming up. I thanked Larry, telling him to enjoy his night as I went inside to see the boss, Dean.
