*Giovoni's POV*

She smiled. She looked me dead in the eyes and fucking smiled. She smiled while I was squeezing the air out of her. And fuck did it ignite something in me. I saw not one ounce of fear in her eyes. Instead, she leaned into my hands. I wanted nothing more than to mate her so that I could stake my claim. She was driving me crazy. In the worst, yet best ways. I grabbed her arm again, walking a little faster. I swear the walk to the prison never seemed this long before.

*Tsar's POV*

I smirked when I realized we were walking faster than before, but stopped when people were flanking us, from either direction. They didn't look at us, just walked. I looked at them quizzically before taking a step closer to steel eyes, who seemed to be oblivious to all of this.
"Uhh, Steel eyes? Notice anything?" I whispered. He looked at me, eyebrow raised.
"Steel eyes?" He looked a mixture between pissed off and amused.
"Oh I'm sorry mister "everyone should know my name without me even bringing it up." But unlike you, I don't have "ways" of getting research done on people." I huffed out, wanting more than anything to get away from him. But the soldier looking people creeped me out.
"Giovoni." Was all he said before we came to a huge concrete building. Immediately the people that were trailing us fanned out, circling the building. I didn't have time to ponder what was happening before I was blinded. I quickly threw my head back, thrashing about wildly, until a steel grip pinned my arms to my sides.
"Don't. Push. It." His warm breath tickled my ear as I retracted my neck into my shoulders, a small squeal escaping my mouth. I heard the cringeworthy noise of what I'm assuming to be the metal doors opening, followed by a gush of cold air, and pungent smells.
"This place could definitely use some febreeze or candles. Candles are nice." I mumbled out, practically feeling giovoni's gaze on me. I heard the heavy door shut, and found myself once again being dragged somewhere else. As soon as we rounded a corner, I could feel how tense the atmosphere was. The air was so thick that it was literally hard to breathe. That and Giovoni, much to my horror and disbelief, tightened his grip even more. At this point, he had to be touching my bones. We halted, me bumping into something (wall maybe?) and quickly composing myself. I drew closer to Giovoni when I heard a door slam open followed by heavy foot steps.
"What the hell Gi? You're really gonna lock her up in here of all places?" The familiar voice of Derick met my strained ears and for some reason, I relaxed. Derick wasn't a threat.
"Do I get a cell mate?" I asked, really curios. I started making mental rules as I awaited the answer.
"Oh, you can be my cell mate sweet cheeks." I heard a scruffy voice shout, followed by dozens of hoots and hollers. My head snapped to the direction the voice came from. Oh how I wish this blind fold was off.
"The only thing sweet about these cheeks is that they'll be the last thing you see before I tear you to pieces." I smiled in the direction, before I was sure my arm was gonna break.
"Hey, OW!" I slapped Giovoni's hand from my very tender arm, gently rubbing what I'm sure was already a bruise forming.
"What am I gonna do with her? I offered her her own space and she chose this." I heard Giovoni say to Dereck.
"Wait, So she actually asked to be put in here," Dereck started, but I cut him off.
"Well, I wouldn't say asking, seeing as I wasn't giving him an option." I reached out blindly to feel for a wall, or anything solid so that I could lean against.
"And you actually listened? Are you running a fever?" Dereck sounded beyond shocked, and it took my all not to rip the blind fold off. "Tell me Gi, what would you have been done?"
"Chained her to the desk in my study." He said without hesitation. I snorted at that, before shaking my head. What did they take me for?
"So why haven't you?" Derick asked.
"Hey hey hey, right here!" I said, pointing a finger at myself.
"Because I turned my study into a room for her." Giovoni said, ignoring me. But I didn't care. I was too busy replaying what he just said in my head. Did he really turn his study into a room just for me? Why would he even go that far? And that room was just as better as his! Why put that much effort? Frustrated, I snatched the blind fold off before marching up to Giovoni, who looked at me blankly. Someone was still angry.
"Why?" I asked, crossing my arms and looking up at him, trying my best to seem intimidating. He raised an eyebrow, before looking at Dereck who just shrugged his shoulders.
"Why what?" He said, looking at me in pure confusion.
"Why the room? Why spend that much on me? Why even think about giving me a room of my own? Why the effort?" I was getting angrier and Angrier. It seemed that every time I asked a question, no one would answer it. Giovoni opened his mouth to say something, but closed it, just glaring at me.
"I don't have to explain anything to you." He snapped before turning Back to Derick.
"So you thought that locking her here, with dozens of the most dangerous people you have came across, as well as unmated wolves would be bright?" Seeing the look on Giovoni's face after what Derick said, I knew that I was heading back to his gorgeous estate.
"If you could just escort me to my cell now." I stated, glaring at Derick, who just shrugged his shoulders. Giovoni looked at me, deep in thought, before smirking.
"Respingere le guardie. Assicurati che nessuno si trovi sul territorio." He said to Derick, while still maintaining eye contact with me, his eyes glowing. I furrowed my brows as I repeated what he said, trying to figure out what it was that he said. I knew Italian, but only a little.
"Che cosa hai intenzione di fare con lei?" I looked at Derick shocked. How many knew Italian? But his sentence was easily decipherable. My eyes went wide as I looked at Giovoni.
"Again, right here! And I hope that answer is escort me to my cell!" I looked between both of them, my anger clearly surfacing.
"Giocheremo al mio gioco preferito." Giovoni said, taking a lazy step towards me, eyes getting brighter and brighter. I narrowed my eyes at him before plopping on the ground, arms crossed.
"Well, whatever it is, I'm not going back to that house." I said glaring at both of them. At that, Giovoni smirked.
"Destituito." Was all Giovoni said, before Derick left, leaving just us two. I heard a sneeze and my head snapped up. I chuckled, shaking my head. Well, us two and dozens of prisoners.
