It had been fifteen minutes later when I felt like I didn't have to try to breathe. I stood whooping and Hollering, my wolf chuckling at how excited I was. Without hesitation, I ran for the stairs, throwing on the closest pair of shoes, which happened to be a pair of white converses. I bolted down the stairs, undoing the many locks of the front door. When the last lock clicked open, I threw the door open, heart thundering with adrenaline. But before I could make a run for it, my eyes traveled down to a little person on the porch, looking at me with saucer eyes, a stuffed wolf hanging from her hands. Her other had been raised to knock on the door, but I guess I beat her to it.
"Uhm, hi?" I said, looking around for who the little girl belonged too. Surely she couldn't just be by herself. I mean, she looked no older than 5 for fucks sake!
"You're sooo beautiful!" The girl screamed. When kids compliment, they tend to mean it. I smiled at her, kneeling down so that I was level with her.
"And you have the fairness of a princess." I said, causing the girl to blush.
"Did you come alone?" I asked the girl. She looked cautiously behind her back, before pulling me in so that she could whisper in my ear.
"I'm hiding from uncle Derick." She said, looking behind her self once again.
"The beta?" I asked curiously. The girl nodded eagerly, before pulling me back in to whisper in my ear.
"He's supposed to watch me until Voni gets back." She giggled again, looking over her shoulder once more. I looked her over, my eyebrows going up in recognition. Her Grey eyes reminded me of a certain silver pair, and her hair was just as dark and thick as Giovoni's.
"You must be Giovoni's little sister." I asked, smiling as she nodded her head eagerly.
"I'm Yazmine" the girl said, playing with her hair.
"Well, my name is Tsar, and I say we go hide from that big headed beta." I grinned at the girl as she looked at me, eyes beaming with excitement. I took her and pulled her into the house, shutting the door after me. I stood, looking around for a place to hide, and Yazmine must've noticed because she took my hands and pulled me up the stairs and pushed open a door that I haven't even known was there, exposing a very narrow pair of stairs. She pulled me in, quickly shutting the door before grabbing my hands and continuing up the stairs. We came to a door in which she opened with ease, despite how heavy the door looked. I stared in awe at the huge boxes of decorations, for all seasons. There was also tons of photo albums, and other cloth covered boxes. There was countless spider webs and it took my all not to squeal in front of Yazmine. She continued pulling me all the way to the far corner, before sitting and pulling me down to do so. She pulled one of the cloths from the nearest box and covered us with it, giggles erupting the both of us.
"Now we wait." She said eagerly, grabbing hand fulls of my hair and absentmindedly playing in it, which almost caused me to doze off. I smiled as Yazmine giggled at my reaction before shushing me. I listened as Derick pounded on the door.
"Tsar! Did you happen to see a little girl come through? I mean, I know the alpha grounded you and all." He stopped there with a snicker, causing me to growl, Yazmine slapping a hand over my mouth. I heard the click of the door and knew that he was in. There was a moment of silence, me and Yazmine laughing quietly.
"Shit shit shit shit!" I quickly covered Yazmine's ear, mentally noting to give Derick some words.
"Hey Gi, where are you?" I heard Derick ask timidly.
"Oh no, she's here!" He said, a little to loudly and quickly. I rolled my eyes, imaging what Giovoni was saying.
"Y-you wanna speak to her? She said no." I bit back a laugh as I imagined Derick sweating his balls off.
"Fine you got me. She's not here." He said quickly. Even I could here Giovoni's rage through the phone.
"You really expected me to watch both Tsar AND you're sister?" Were we really that bad? I looked down at Yazmine, who had a scowl on her face. I winked at her, my heart swelling as she tried, but adorably failed to wink back, blinking both of her eyes.
"I kinda lost Yazmine too." He whispered. I chuckled at what sounded like him beating his head against something repeatedly.
"This is NOT funny guys." I heard him yell as he continued to look around the house. I almost felt bad for him. Almost.
