I woke to tiny fingers poking my face. I slowly peeked an eye open to see a smiling Yazmine.
"Ciao Bella." I sat up stretching in bed.
"You know Italian as well?!" Yazmine asked, eyes wide.
"Not as much as you I'm afraid." I fake pouted.
"I can teach you!" She squealed, bouncing on the bed in excitement.
"I'd love that very much." I said, causing her to scream. I looked around frowning before I saw the shiny pink alarm clock sitting on the shiny new bedside table that complimented the bed. I frowned at the bright pink that disturbed the color pattern of the room.
"Did you get dropped off?" I asked looking back at Yazmine who was in deep thought. She nodded her head.
"Dad had to go to work and Mom had a breakfast date." She said, shrugging her shoulders.
"She doesn't take you?" I asked getting up out the bed.
"I don't like going". Was her short reply.
"Did you eat breakfast?" I folded my arms across my chest, biting my lip.
"Nope." She said, popping the p.
"Tell you what, do you have a spare toothbrush here?" She nodded her head as if saying duh.
"Is that Voni's shirt?" She asked turning her head to the side. I blushed and hurriedly tried to pull it down. "I want one too, we can be twins while watching the show!" I couldn't help but smile at her.
"Ok, but let's get your toothbrush first, that way we can brush our teeth together." She nodded her head eagerly.
"It's in Voni's room." And before I could protest, she hopped off the bed and grabbed my arm, dragging me next door. From the moment we entered the very dark room, I hoped that he wouldn't be in there. Yazmine guided me effortlessly through the dark room, walking into the bathroom and flicking on the light. I took this opportunity to peek back out in the room, and sighed in relief when I saw that the bed was empty. Yazmine grabbed a small purple toothbrush before slipping back out, headed to his shirt drawer. She opened it, rifling around until she found one suitable for her. She then turned my way before turning back to the drawer and pulling out yet another shirt.
"I already have one Yazmine." I said, walking up behind her.
"This ones bigger." She said, shoving it in my hand and closing the drawer. I couldn't argue with her on that one so I took her hand and guided her right back to my room. I picked her up and put her on the counter so that we could brush our teeth. After we were done we changed into our shirts.
"Can I take your braid down?" She asked, pointing to my very frizzy hair that was in a very sloppy braid.
"Sure." I put her back on the counter and leaned so that she had easy access.
"You have very soft hair." She chuckled as she hopped off the counter.
"Why thank you." I winked at her and we headed out of the room.
"So What do you want for breakfast?" I asked as she sat on the sofa.
"I want a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns!" She said, jumping from the couch and pulling on my shirt, dragging me into the direction of the kitchen.
"My specialty." I pulled out the necessary things before I stood, debating on whether or not to make Giovoni some. I mean, what if he ate already? What if he doesn't like it? Where even is he?
You can answer all those questions yourself.
Good one.
Picture him in your head. Imagine his scent, his voice, his achingly good looks.
I did as I was told and almost screamed when it felt like I was having an out of body experience. It was like I was basically in the same room as him. He was in the gym, going crazy with a punching bag. But was he hungry?
Wait for it.
I then felt how hungry he was and I gasped, hand coming to my stomach. That seemed to open up many gateways because in that moment, flashes of heat waves crashed in to me, I had a dull ache all over my body, and a very faint small headache.
I present to you, our mate bond.
After making Yazmine her omelette and hash browns, I went to work on Giovoni's. I made him two huge omelettes, one with mushrooms, cheese and spinach and another with ham Cheese and bacon. I also made a good serving of hash browns and a huge cup of orange juice, setting it down on the place mat next to two aspirins. After I made my plate, I hurriedly cleaned the dishes. I stood there awkwardly, not knowing weather to go alert him that breakfast was ready or not.
Wouldn't want it to get cold.
"Yazmine, Do you know where the gym is?" She was just about to dig in, but she frowned before nodding her head and taking my hand. She was so much like me that it left me shaking my head. She opened a door that I would've thought was a closet, and we went downstairs. She opened the door pulling us both in, and immediately I froze. I was not aware that he had company.*Giovoni's POV*
"So you mean to tell me that you can easily throw 450? Alpha or not, I think it's a bit far fetched." Vincent said, wiping his face with his sweat towel.
"A bit?" Jasper said throwing down his 250 pound weight.
"I've conquered the unconquerable lands, survived a couple vampire bites, burned countless of empires down, and you think that throwing a 450 pound weight is gonna stop an Arsen, one of the few originals?" I stretched my arms and legs, ready to prove the knuckle heads wrong.
"There he goes with the title throwing." Derick said rolling his eyes, throwing his jump rope to the side. I flicked him off before picking up the 450 pounder with ease, tossing it a bit in my hands before throwing it to the far side of the room, causing it to crack the cement walls. I was expecting to be greeted by yells. Instead I got silence. I frowned, turning to the group with eyebrows raised.
"Wolf got your tongues?" I asked, expecting for Vincent to yell cornball at the joke I made. But their attention seemed else wear, except for Derick, who had his eyes cast down. I followed their eyes, turning around when a dangerous snarl broke out from my lips. In the doorway to the gym stood Yazmine in my shirt, hiding behind a pair of long legs. Legs that belonged to my lovely mate, who was also wearing my shirt. Just my shirt. I growled, baring my canines at the men who instantly fell to their knees in submission, averting their gazes. My eyes soon found a shocked Tsar, who looked like a dear in headlights. I was beyond pissed. I growled again before stalking to her, watching as she took steps back. I grabbed her and threw her over my shoulder, picking Yazmine up as well.
"What is wrong with you?" She asked, squirming in my hold. I growled at her yet again before I came into the kitchen where I sat Yazmine down. I put Tsar down directly in front of me, pinning her arms to her side so she couldn't escape.
"What's wrong with me? ME?! You come flaunting down to the gym in a room full of unmated men in nothing but a SHIRT! A FUCKING SHIRT!" I bellowed, squeezing her arms tight.
"Watch your mouth." She growled. "And had I KNOWN that there'd be PEOPLE here, I would've dressed for the occasion!" She yelled back, trying to pull away from me.
"I don't have to tell you anything." I growled out, getting closer to her face.
"You, don't have to tell me anything? YOU DONT?! ITS MY FUCKING RIGHT TO KNOW SEEING AS YOU KIDNAPPED ME YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" She snapped, snatching herself out of my grip. "Enjoy your god damned breakfast, because lord knows you just ruined my appetite." She stomped off, but my eyes snapped to the table. On it sat three plates, and my heart fell. She made me breakfast?
"Tsar, wait," I called after her, but was greeted by the door slamming shut.
You fucked that up didn't you?
I put my head in my hands, when they snapped up to the door leading to the gym. The guys came out, avoiding eye contact.
"We're sorry Gi." Jasper said, before heading to the door, followed by the rest of the men. I looked back at the table of plates just sitting there and knew I screwed up. Now I had to think of how to coax her out the room. I walked into the living room to see Yazmine sitting on the couch, close to tears.
"Oh nessuna principessa cosa c'è di sbagliato?" I asked sitting next to her and pulling her into my lap.
"Sei un cattivo!" She shouted, kicking out from my lap. "We were gonna have breakfast and then watch Teen Wolf but you Sar mad!" She said, folding her arms and growling at me. I frowned before an idea popped up in my head. She might say no to me, but no one can resist Yazmine.
"Hey little sis, do your big brother a favor?" I asked, easing behind her on the couch.
"Apologize to Sar." She said, turning away from me again.
"Deal, but you have to get her out the room." I said laughing. She sat in silence for a minute before turning to me.
"Throw In candy and it's a deal." She said in a serious tone.
"Princess if you get her out that room you can have all the candy your heart desires." She put her stuffed wolf down and marched up stairs still mad.
What are you gonna say to her? You feel her anger, she's fuming."
Shit.
