"You hungry?" I asked her. We'd been driving for almost 3 hours in comfortable silence aside from the music playing in the background. Ruby looked to be in really deep thought after our previous conversation. She must be thinking over the prophecy she thought she could escape.
'I wonder if she'd be willing to let me read her, maybe we can find out more about it.'
"Yeah, I'm hungry. I could go look for an ani-" "No, don't worry, I have that sort of thing handled." I interrupted her.
Off ramping to a side road into the woods, I found a clearing with a little waterfall and a lake. 'This'll do well.' I thought as I parked a little ways from it. "Follow me Miss vampire." I teased, jumping out making her roll her eyes and smile a little. Walking over to my caravan, I whispered an incantation to unlock the door before walking in.
"Welcome to my humble abode. It may be a little small but I can assure you, it's comfortable." I told her as she stepped in.
"Whoa..This place looks amazing." Ruby told me with astonishment written on her face. I have to admit, she looked very beautiful in this moment, not that she doesn't look beautiful in any other moment of course. Her wide eyes seem to sparkle as she stepped further in to get a better look and feel of everything.
