I can barely move. My arms, my legs, my whole body feels so heavy, like gallons of lead flow through my veins leaving me immobile. And my head hurts more than anything I've ever experienced. It feels like someone keeps pounding me with something hard and heavy.

The only thing I'm able to do is open my eyes. But sadly, my surroundings are too dark and gloomy to be visible to me.

'...where am I...'

As if my question was heard, a little flicker of light comes on from the corner of the room.

A candle.

Held by a figure I couldn't identify quite yet thanks to the long dark cloak and hood covering them. Typical creepy kidnapper I guess.

Then I realize I've been kidnapped, which is something I wouldn't have expected to happen to me. I mean, I take pride in being a badass no one can compete with and here I am, weak and trapped in a dark room on a strangely comfortable surface all because of...

'WHERE'S RUBY?!'

I really begin to panic now. Remembering everything that happened just before I was knocked out. The voice, her voice.

"I see you're awake my love."

The figure has made it's way to me, sitting next to me, on what I realize is a huge bed, before placing the candle on the nightstand and removing the hood.

Her green eyes eyes stare back at me, a wicked smirk on her red strained lips as she moves closer to me and puts her hand on my face. Unfortunately for me, all I can do is glare and grimace, not being able to move away from her touch.

Her smirk softens into a smile as she lets her thumb graze over my cheek and lips, looking so sincere for a moment that I almost believe her.

"I missed you so much Toni.."

My angry stare, however, seems to break her sincere words. I care less about her missing me. She's the one that decided to become a power hungry creature, she's the one that hurt me.

Her face falls but she composes herself quickly, going back to her smug expression before speaking again.

"I see you moved on. I have to admit I'm quite jealous, especially since you seem to have taken a better liking to her then you did me. I could smell your blood flowing through her. You never let me anywhere near your neck."

Her hand moved to my neck, letting her fingers touch the marks of Ruby's bite above my necklace. She glares at it before looking back me and smiling again.

"But we don't have to worry about that anymore. You'll be mine again. Things will be different this time. You and me, we'll rule the world together."

"I'll never be with you. Not ever again." I manage to growl out. I'm starting to feel a bit better.

"Oh, really?" She gives me a demented smile scaring me slightly. "I think I've got a way to change your mind."

She stands up before helping me up. And though I don't want her to touch me, I know she could be leading me out of this room and then I'd be able to find out where I am and how to get out. I need to find my Ruby.

With her hands unnecessarily holding my waist, she guides me out of the dark room to a gloomy corridor. I immediately realize that we are in a very dark and old castle. The walls made of stone with black metal candelabra lighting up the way. Statues and gargoyles and paintings are littered around as we approach a winding staircase.

Kara moves next to me, noticing that I'm able to walk by myself now though I'm still weak. She takes off her cloak and puts it on me, succeeding even though I try to shrug it off.

"Don't fight me babe, it's cold down there." She then takes my hand in a tight grip and walks down the stairs, the only sound being the clicks of her boots each time she takes a step and the drops of water rhythmically hitting the stone floor.

We finally reach a steel door, the smile on Kara'a face making me frightened of what I'm going to find behind it.

She pricks her thumb on her fang so it bleeds before painting a symbol on the door to unlock it. The door clicks and slowly swings open.

I gasp loudly and try to move forward to her, to Ruby that has been tied up by her hands, swinging from the ceiling and looking to be in great pain even if she's unconscious. I see blood dripping from her waist under her grey shirt, the black liquid slowly pooling at her feet. Kara holds me back chuckling in my ear.

"It seems your precious girlfriend is a little tied up."

"Let her go!"

"I will. Once I get what I want."

I manage to get out of her grip and run over to Ruby. I check her wound before touching her face softly before trying to wake her.

"There's no point. I used quite a strong potion. She'll be out for a couple more hours. Enough time for you and I to change a few things about the prophecy."

I turn towards her slowly, my anger rising pretty quickly despite still feeling a little weak.

"I said, let her go. Now!"

I'm ready to throw something at her, knock her out and escape with Ruby. But I can't. I'm too weak. Whatever she drugged me with took a lot out of me.

"Oh, baby. My precious little witch. There's no point in fighting me. You might as well just give in to me, it's safer for your weak vampire over there."

I contemplate her words. As much as I hate this so much, there's no other way I can think of to get out of here.

"...what do you want?"

She gives me a smirk, one that used to be a sweet smile that I loved but has now been tainted by pure evil.

"All I want, is you."
