Witch (Ruby Rose)

I woke up to the sun hitting my face and the sound of a soft snore close behind me. Trying to turn over, I felt arms tighten around my waist as I was pulled closer into Ruby's body.

'i told her to stay on her side.'

I tried to wiggle out of her strong hold but it was useless. So I laid there, waiting for her to wake up.

Eventually, she started to stir, still keeping her arms around me somewhat possessivly. When her eyes were finally opened, she looked at me with her bright eyes that seemed to take on a brighter blue colour then last night. She had a smile on her face that made me melt. She looks so beautiful.

"I...I told you to stay on your side." I told her trying to ignore the warm feeling in my chest.

"Well, good morning to you too." She said sassily, then pulled me closer giving me a lingering kiss on my cheek before getting out of bed and stretching, making her tank top lift up.
I couldn't help but let my eyes look over her body again, reminding me of what she was doing last night.

"So what are we doing today." She asked breaking my train of thought. Looking out the window, I saw the lake. The light of the rising sun making it glittery like crystals, birds singing sweetly in the trees. It is a winsome sight.

"Well, I'm not sure yet. Maybe we can try find out more about your prophecy." I slip out of bed and fix the bed before turning to her.

"How are we going to do that?"
She seemed confused.

"Oh, Ruby, you wound me. I'm a witch, I can basically do anything." I smirk at her as I take a towel, scented soaps and a change of clothes. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to wash up. No peaking this time."

She rolls her eyes, then smirks. "Maybe I can join you." Of course she would say something like that.

I just roll my eyes and walk out of the caravan towards the lake. Putting my clothes and towel on a nearby rock I start to strip off my sleeping clothes and underwear before stepping into the cool water with my soap and swam to the waterfall.

After a couple minutes I hear the water splash a little from behind me.

'wow, she's actually going to join me..I don't know why I'm even surprised.'

I carried on washing myself, trying to ignore her eyes on me and the way my body was feeling because of her staring. The whole ordeal was weird because I've not felt this way since my stupid ex-girlfriend.

"Can you stop staring at my ass?" I ask as I finally turn to her with my arms crossed over my chest "hiding" from her, which is pointless considering that she's seen me naked. I shouldn't care really, I usually don't, but she's making me feel all types of things I don't remember how to deal with anymore.

She smirks at me again. "I'm just admiring the tattoo you have there, it's really pretty, not only because it's on your ass but it's really cool and unique."

She's talking about the skull hand tattoo I got awhile back. It was a dare at first from some friends I met in Paris but I eventually took a liking of the design, it's different and actually looks great on me.

"..Thanks." I say back shyly

'what the hell is wrong with me?! Shy? Since when?!'

I cough slightly before speaking.
"I like your tattoos also. Very unique and out there." She smiles at compliment. I guess she really takes pride in them so my compliment must make happy.

'i should do that more so I can see her amazing smile again.'

We just continue staring at each other for awhile slightly hypnotized by each other, slowly moving closer til our naked bodies are almost touching and in that moment, I want nothing more than to pull her close to me and trace every part of her with my tongue.

Her eyes darken a bit, turning into a beautiful musky teal that makes my insides flip, my lower abdomen is involuntary clenching in desire.

I bet she can hear my the rapid beat of my heart as blood pumps through me because I notice her fangs are out as her gaze drifts to my neck.

The hunger and lust in her eyes is extremely overwhelming and I'm not sure if I should let this go on or not. I mean if I were to judge this by the way my body was reacting, I'd be under her immediately. But something in the back of my mind wants me to push her away.
She's not like some random girl I met and went home with, she's different somehow. Doing this will obviously have some strings attached.

'i can't let her close. I don't want her to do what Cara did to me.'

I snap out of my trance and take a step back from her. Still feeling really hot from her gaze despite the cool water, I try really hard to avoid her eyes and glistening body.

"I-I...We should finish up. I'll see you back in the caravan."

I swim away back to the bank and quickly dry myself and getting dressed, i try my hardest to compose myself after that intensity.

I guess Ruby was composing herself too because it took her a little while before she comes in the caravan fully dressed. Her eyes are still a little dark but she looks a lot less heated than before. I can't help but stare at her though.

I cleared my throat as I try to alleviate the slight awkwardness in the air.
"So um...lets try and see what your prophecy is. Is that ok with you?" I ask her trying to change the subject somehow.

She nods and looks at me with a small smile and something hidden in her eyes. I'm not sure what it is, disappointment? Nerves? I don't know.

'it's better I avoid this'

"Ok, so," I begin gathering things from my cabinets and shelves, grabbing some candles and crystals as well as some herds and incense. "We're gonna go in a simple trace state and I'm going to try see if I can read your prophecy. I learnt this from my brother."

"You have a brother?" She asks me curiously. I'm glad that the tension is now gone.

"Yeah. He's an Oracle and clairvoyant. He basically taught me all things that have anything to do with reading signs and the future. He thought it'd be a great skill to have the ability to communicate with The Moon Goddess." I say smiling fondly at the memories. I turn around and see Ruby watching me fondly. I can't help but smile at her.

"Ok, we'll do this outside. It seems to be quite enough so it's perfect." I step out with Ruby following close behind. I move towards the middle of the clearing and flatten the a circular patch of grass, letting my things float into position.

"Sit over here crosslegged with your hands on your knees palms up." She does as asked looking a little nervous. "Just stay calm. All you need to do is keep a steady breathing pace and your good. You can open or close your eyes if you want. Just as long as you keep your focus on something that calms you and makes you happy."

I sit mirroring her, back straight and mind clear. Well as clear as it could be since I can't stop looking at her beautiful face.

'focus Toni.'

I double check that everything is in place, snapping my fingers to light up the candles and incense.

"Just, breathe...." I say as I begin the ritual.

'here goes nothing.'
