Overdrive told me to stay in the room with her after everyone left. So, I waited, until everyone left, and stayed in the room with her. She walked up next to me and sat right beside me.

"Michael, I need you to promise me something." She told me. I nodded.

"Well, it depends on what it is," I responded. Overdrive didn't look me in the eyes.

"I need you to promise me that whatever happens when we find that color, no matter what happens, you will never turn against us," Said Overdrive. "We've come so far, we've built so much. And we can't let it burn to the ground because of one person." I stayed quiet. I couldn't see her face, but I knew she must've been close to crying. I could tell by the way she talked. Her voice became continuously shakier.

"I have given my blood, sweat, and heart to this place, to this cause. I will not let one single person be the fire that burns it all down. So you have to promise me," Said Overdrive as her voice became weaker and weaker. "You have promise me, that you will do whatever it takes to keep this dream alive. Keep these people safe... You're their best hope."

"I promise," I said, my eyes tearing up. I'd never seen Overdrive like this before. "I'll do whatever I need to do." Overdrive lightly nodded but didn't raise her head.

"Stop them, no matter what," She said.

"Nobody stands in the way of our dreams."
