Veronica took a deep breath. It's okay. She thought. This is your new home, deal with it. She layed down on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Why did they have to move? New York had been perfectly fine. It had felt open, free, there. Unlike riverdale, a drab, boring town without a decent mall.
Life sucked. There had been no reason for her family to move. Her parents had had great jobs, they were rich. So why did they have to leave New York? Her dad had gotten that job offer any he had taken it without a second thought. I guess it's his hometown, so he missed it. She thought. It didn't matter though.
Tomorrow was her first day at riverdale high. Which meant she had to make friends. Which sucked. "Friends are pointless." Veronica said to the ceiling. "I'm not going to remember them once I leave high school. Ill have bigger things to worry about." It wasn't that Veronica didn't WANT friends, it was more like all the other friends she had had had been suckish. Backstabbing, rich bitches. Now Veronica had trust issues. That wasn't a good thing to have when you just moved and are now EXPECTED to make friends. Or else you're the loner. I guess I have to make friends then. Veronica sighed.
Life sucked.
