Trigger warning: struggling to get pregnant, bad plot, threats of divorce, planning to attempt suicide (that shit came out of nowhere), self harm (also out of nowhere).

Logan's POV

I wrap my arms around my sobbing husband, negative pregnancy tests surrounding us.

"It's my fault! I should've done everything I could! I should've taken supplements! I'm sorry I disappoint you Logan." He wails into my chest as I rub his back.

"You know you don't disappoint me for a second. Yes, it is taking us a longer time to be able to conceive a second child, but it is going to be worth it. It. Is. Not. Your. Fault. Understand?" I ask and he nods vigorously.

"Let's get some doctors advice about this and find out what we can do to help, okay?" I ask and he nods.

One month later
Patton's POV

I stare at the positive pregnancy test and smile, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"LOGIE!" I scream and hear loud footsteps coming towards the bathroom door.

"PATTON! Unlock the door!" He yells and I smirk.

"You have to solve a riddle first." I tell him and he scoffs.

"Go ahead. What's your riddle?" He asks.

"Who owns his own library, loves me, and is gonna be a father?" I ask him and hear a loud gasp. I unlock the door and he wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me up.

"WE DID IT!" He yells happily and I giggle, tears still flowing.

"What's the matter?" He pauses and questions.

"Nothing, I just finally get to have a baby with the man of my dreams." I whisper and he smiles.

Four months later

I lay my head on Logan's shoulder as I start to fall asleep.

"Dada?" Virgil, our two year old, questions as I finally get some rest.

"Son, you need to let him sleep while he can. Carrying a child for the second time isn't that easy." I hear Logan whisper.

Don't tell him.

"What does that mean?" Virgil asks.

DON'T TELL HIM.

"Adult things happened so now he has a baby in his tummy." Logan whispers softly. I push him away from me and walk off with a loud huff.

"What's the matter Patton?" Logan asks.

"YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO TELL HIM THAT!" I screech. Everyone goes silent.

"I'm sorry I was just trying to tell him the truth." Logan whispers.

"I want a divorce." I whisper.

"WHAT?!" He wails and I walk off to pack a bag.

I come back and kiss my son's forehead, then place my wedding ring into Logan's hand. I leave, desperately trying to ignore the loud sobs from my soon-to-be-ex-husband.

"Logan Sanders. Stop while you're ahead. It's not gonna work." I warn, only getting him further into his crying fit.

"I SAID STOP IT!" I scream, trying to fight the urge to run into his arms.

"I will always love you Patton." He whispers between tears and starts to walk off.

"Don't you dare!" I yell and run after him. I bang on our bathroom door.

"LET ME DIE PATTON!" He screams. I curl into as much of a ball as I can, and sob loudly. I hear a door open and bandaged arms wrap around me.

"Logan, you said you quit!" I wail and he shakes his head.

"I'll try harder from now on, okay?" He asks. I nod and cuddle closer to his chest.

"Want your wedding ring back?" He questions and holds out his palm. I take the ring and put it in it's rightful place.

Another four months later

I sit on the couch as guests arrive for the baby shower.

"Are you feeling alright, Patt?" Lo asks.

"I'm fine. I'm going to go take a quick power nap." I whisper.

"Come here Virgil! It's nap time!" I call and hear tiny feet come running.

He stops when he gets to me and I hold out my hand. We walk off, his small hand in mine, to go get ready for the all the people that'll be here today.

I lay him on the bed, then lay down, him instantly cuddling into my side. I fall asleep after feeling my husband wrap his arms around me.
