After being married as long as Logan and Patton have, you find a flow. Patton wakes up early and gets breakfast and coffee ready, Lo kisses his cheek when he wakes up and gets himself a mug of coffee and makes Patton's tea because Patton 'can't make it like you can', and they chat and cuddle after eating breakfast together while their roommates stumble downstairs an hour later.

They're always following this schedule, except for birthday mornings where it's a bit different so they can celebrate. So when Patton found out he was pregnant, Virgil and Roman expected a break in the years of this careful flow.

They seem to underestimate their roommates though; as it remained the same. Pat wakes up, makes breakfast as Lo isn't the best at cooking breakfast, and they go through the ritual.

Then the bets came. How long will it take before these two make a new flow? What'll change? Gasp, will Lo start to make breakfast instead of having dinner duty?

As they waited to see who had to pay who, the lovebirds STILL didn't change anything.

The beautiful baby girl came, and nothing changed. Virgil starts to wonder if his roommates are robots and why didn't he know until now?

After more time of wondering what species their friends are, finally! A revelation!

After breakfast and their usual waiting for their friends to crawl out of their fluffy black hole of a bed; Pat and Lo now have an hour or so of cuddles, reading books, or watching cooking shows while they wait for their daughter to wake up.

After it's their regularly scheduled programming, they go through their typical day of Lo working on his laptop, Pat baking or crafting or cleaning around the house, and their daughter being swapped from parent to parent when needed.

With their son, they also made little changes to routine. Nothing earth-shattering; always simple but it works for them and they're happy.

Virge and Roman take mental notes for their own marriage, as Patton and Logan in their words "have been together fifty million years, so they have to be doing something right."

The most fascinating thing? They don't realize they do it. Once when Logan was on a long business trip, Patton made the usual amount of coffee for both of his caffeine addicted housemates so Virge "had to finish the pot so it wouldn't go to waste".

That same trip, Logan called to ask Patton to describe what's going on this week on that baking show that they watch a lot in the morning.

When Logan got back, he and Patton were confronted about the weird "glitches in their programming." As Roman put it, they denied it and genuinely had no clue what Virgil and Roman were talking about.

That only seemed to solidify that they are a golden couple to their roommates, and boosted the frequency of robot jokes from Roman. And as Virge has frequently mentions after he sees them cuddled up after making up from a disagreement "Even when you're mad at each other you're still weird. You're going to give me cavities with that sweetness."

Virge also swears that if they ever divorce that the universe will explode.

It's not like they'll ever try to find out, but their roommates antics about their routine never ceases to make the couple laugh.

Here's to twenty five forevers of being together, and eighty bajillion more.
