This chapter‘s really short, I didn‘t know what to do with it but Enjoy it anyways :] I will admit it is also rushed and might not make any sense. ;}

“Amber we have to, I have to go back!” Brody kept pestering me, we have been living a freaking hotel for almost a year, it was may 2004, Courtney is almost two, she’s walking, and blabbering on and on about absolutely nothing, some words don’t really make any sense, we have been going to school online, Brody was doing a lot better then me, I haven’t talked to anyone in my family, I had sent them a letter letting them know not to worry but don’t try to find me.

Its graduation week and Brody had officially graduated from high school and I was so proud of him, he had applied to New York university where he’s going to take culinary courses. Me on the other hand failing terribly, spending so much time with Courtney, working, putting money away for her, paying for a babysitter so I can actually go to work, paying for the hotel.

“I’ll go, but I’m only going for you, and Sadie and Tessa” I added, I was mostly only going for Brody but I had to make up my absence, I had abandoned everyone.

“Thank you” he planted a kiss on my cheek before leaving the room, Courtney coughed as she rubbed her eyes sitting up in bed, she had been sick with something lately and I couldn’t afford the right care for her so we don’t know what it is.

“Were going to go see Aunties Tessa soon, you probably don’t remember her but she loves you” I reminded her, she looked up at me and smiled

“Mommy” she sang reaching out to my hair, grabbing a piece and tried to put it in her mouth, my hair was black with the bottom layer dyed electric blue, Courtney was always trying to eat my hair and hair extensions.

“Hey Brod?” I called out from the other room.

“Yea?” he called back, his voice echoing through both rooms almost like he was sitting right next to you.

“Son of a bitch!” he yelped, I heard the water running softly then stopping, he poked his head out holding a towel on his left cheek.

“Sorry” he said quietly, I smiled back and nodded, he went back into the bathroom and washed himself off coming back into the room he sat on the bed next to me and pulled me close to him, I shut the laptop and pushed it to the side.

“I just realized, Aaron” Brody winced at the mention of his name, he hated Aaron more then I did if that as even possible.

“What about him” he asked holding me closer, I was guessing that he didn’t want to lose me because he was afraid that I was going to go back with Aaron.

“I won’t be able to face him” Brody held on tight like he wasn’t letting go.

“You don’t have to worry about that, I’m here” his lips melted into mine as he kissed me fervidly, I stopped him.

“We can’t” I said pushing him back.

“But we can, I can” I rolled my eyes.

“That’s great hun but keep the snake in the cage, if you have already forgot Courtney is right there” his face turned bright pink, he looked over my shoulder at Courtney who was brainwashed into the TV program she was watching.

“I uhh, forgot” he said talking on the outside of his mouth, biting down on his lip, I shook my head.

“Just go to bed” I smiled, he kissed me on the forehead, flicked the light out and went to bed, leaving me and Courtney to ourselves.

-Graduation Day-

“Lets go please or we are going to be late” Brody called from the small little kitchen, I was in the bathroom finishing up my hair, Courtney was perched up on the counter with her feet dangling over the edge, she still didn’t know how to walk yet which frightened me being she is almost two. Brody rushed into the bathroom and scooped up the baby.
