"SO YOU THINK THIS STOP ON TATOOINE is our best shot to escape?" Meri asked warily, her arms crossed in front of her chest.

Cassus sat with Greer and the Twi'lek, a fan of cards in each inmates' hands, but the game was the least of their concerns. However, whenever a guard passed nearby, the three would immediately drop their gazes down to their cards and place random picks on the table.

"Have you told them yet?"

Cassus nearly huffed at Kylo Ren's incessant, pestering words in her head. "Give me a minute," she returned, not bothering to hide her mild annoyance, "I'm in the middle of it."

"Yes," Cassus said quietly, eying a passing guard before continuing, "If we can find a way to disable this ship's internal system and cause a big enough distraction, we can get out with the least amount of resistance. "She paused, picking her words carefully. "I have a friend in solitary confinement. If we shut down even a part of their systems, he can disable the security in the isolation sector and set the others free and we'll have a full-scale riot."

"How will your friend be able to do it?" Greer asked, "Or know when to do it?"

Fett hesitated. "We've been in contact."

Neither of the two other woman spoke, but Meri narrowed her eyes at the vague statement. Cassus braced herself for a question or accusation, but the Twi'lek only shook her head.

"So we're supposed to hope that this friend of yours comes through for us, and then we run off into the desert? Tatooine is miles of empty sand. We'll be dead from dehydration in a matter of days, if we're not captured and enslaved first."

"If there's a delivery to be picked up, we'll more than likely be docked in a port," Cassus explained, "From there, we can lay low and find a ship to steal."

Pausing to consider this, Meri glanced down and said slowly, "I may have a contact in Mos Eisley that can help us get off-planet."

"And then we can contact the Resistance," Greer added eagerly.

Cassus faltered, her mouth opened but forming no words.

"...Yeah," she managed with feigned agreement. Sometimes she missed having a mask to hide behind.

The three women sat in silence, mulling over the plan. Cassus shifted in her seat, suddenly uncomfortable, casting Greer a quick glance.

With her determination to get back to the Resistance, Greer could be a liability. Fett had already gotten herself and Ren captured by the Gerriva Cartel; she was not going to dig her grave any deeper by falling into the Resistance's lap.
