3 years later
I was at my Mel's Diner. I was writing down orders and taking them to the kitchen. I lost connection with everyone but had two roommates. Bella and Kassie worked at the diner. I only worked here when they wanted extra help. All they knew from my past is I had a shitty boyfriend who lead me to not trust. I mostly work at a record store this mine. which I loved. The doorbell ring as Bella flipped burgers. "Could you get that?" Kassie exclaimed. I walked over to the door and saw Krist. I mean. I've seen him everywhere Nirvanas big but he was looking for a table. "Lil? Is that you?" He smiled. "In the flesh" I smiled. I gave him a hug. "Oh you want a table" I laughed. "It's been so long" he said sitting down. "I didn't mean to stop talking to you, you didn't do a thing" I smiled. "So you work here" he said looking at the diner. "I actually own a art store but I'm helping friends" i laughed at his blandness I missed. Dave walked in. "LILY!" He jumped running in my arms. "So the two boys are back" I laughed. He sat down. He frowned. "Actually three..." he whispered. "Oh shit" I turned my head to see Kurt walk in. "I'm gonna puke gotta go" I said running back to the lounge. I recollected myself in walked out noticing I was in a not too short crop top and high waist shorts. I huffed and walked through the door to take their orders. "Okay What you guys want" I said. "Well if you didn't run of- OW" Krist said as I kicked him. "We will have 4 burgers" Dave said. "But there are 3 of you" I laughed. "We need to catch up" he said offering me to sit. I smiled and grabbed their food. Dave and Krist sat together forcing me by Kurt. "Also I got drinks" I said handing Krist sprite, Dave a Pepsi, myself Dr.Pepper and Kurt Fanta. "I remember" I smiled. "So you work here" Dave asked. "No I own an art store" I said. "Just helping friends." I smiled. I felt Kurt staring at me. I had a lose strand of hair. Kurt tucked it behind my ear. "There" he gave a small smile. "Thanks" I said low. My friends looked out the window and gave me a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes but Kurt looked. "So how's Shell" I asked Krist. "Great, you should visit us sometime" Krist smiled. "Lydia?" I asked Dave. "Before you left we broke up for a week and got back together. She's doing well now" he smiled. "How's your brother I mean even though I've seen him last week?" Kurt asked. He hadn't spoke much. "I wouldn't know" I shrugged. "Oh" he looked down. "I'm guessing he's already got Stephanie Pregnant though" I laughed. Kurt laughed too and put his hand over mine. "I better go" I said moving my hand. "Call us!" Dave yelled. "I will!"
